This is the match day thread for Today's game, I always post this thread before each game so that you can express your views on the corresponding fixture and can talk between each other during the game,
Please post below comments during the game on how the game is going and the latest score and team news.
Have fun and enjoy the game.
I will update during the game on the latest news in the fixture.
This is open to both Gillingham fans and also the opposition which is Swindon.
After the match I will allow you all to create a summary on this thread and I will also provide extra details on the game if they are required or if I want to point anything out. You can talk about what was good about the game and what could have been better. During the game I will update the score and the team sheets as soon as they are available, also at the end I will add the table to this thread as it stands.

I am surprised no Frampton, thought with no Martin he would be in, jackman in for Martin.
    Kedwell back on the bench.

    Swindon

    35 Foderingham
    04 Flint
    07 Caddis
    36 Ridehalgh
    08 Ferry
    10 Ritchie
    12 McCormack
    24 Smith
    23 De Vita
    33 Jervis
    34 Montano

    Substitutes

    27 Cibocchi,
    13 Risser,
    32 Abdulla,
    17 Connell,
    29 Magera

    Gillingham

    01 Flitney
    06 Richards
    15 Lawrence
    16 Fish
    18 Jackman
    04 Lee
    07 Whelpdale
    10 Weston
    14 Rooney
    29 Nouble
    33 Kuffour

    Substitutes

    28 Gazzaniga,
    03 Frampton,
    21 Rance,

Probably Jackman instead of Frampton as Frampton is a bit too slow for that position,.

    Oh Bum!!!!

However I'm likely to pick up my first prediction points of the season..........I wish I wasn't.
It seemed as though the Gills were more than holding their own. B*****ks!!!!!

Such a shame, so much a 50/50 game, does not sound like it should have been a 2 nil defeat, sounds like the story of wasted chances.

No, Not one that I am too upset about as all I thought we would get at the most is 1 points so nothing is not too much different, as long as we do well Saturday, all forgot about.

to be honest I thought your lads gave a good account of yourselves tonight. First half was pretty much dominated by Swindon but Gills had the best chance, no idea how Whelpdale or Noue didn't get it in. 2nd half Gills were much better and Luke Rooney hit the inside of the post and accross the line. Swindon. didn't even look like scoring till Matt Richie fired in a rocket from 30 yards, moments latter Kedwell missed a sitter and Smith took his goal very well at the end. Thought we edged the game in truth but expect to see you lot up there in May.

yeah seemed like we were a bit unlucky listening on Gills Player so i am actually encouraged by the the performance. hopefully we can go and nick a win at morecombe to leapfrog them on saturday. There are a lot of teams at a similar level it this division it seems.

very disappointed to come away without anything. i'm affraid our week link is matt fish, he looked lost and gave their wide player far to much room, i'm sorry but if we are going to achive what we want this season then a more experienced right back is a must!!!

players who did well for me were rooney, though he wants to cut inside to often and not attack the wing. jackman also done well until they got the opening goal and we just seemed like in most matches to fall apart!
flitney no blame for any of the goals and coped well throughout.

think we just don't know what to do with it at times and just wasted openings and gave it straight back to them to the frustration of the fans, far to many long balls to which kuffour had no chance. nouble for me was a big disappointment along with our savours whelps & lee, weston and richards & lawrence with no ideas and would hit high up field or out of play for a throw or goal kick.

we did have the chances though and should of at least scored one (kedwell what a miss) still don't believe it! and rooney hitting post with keeper nowhere in site! should of tested the keeper alot more than we did, but just seemed to pass backwards when in the final third.

do not believe swindon's support either, so very quite and only slightly better when a goal up!

we are in quick need of a coach for the players now, not when scally & hess feel they will put it in motion...we tired & run out of ideas!!!

on a whole we need more than one plan, fitter players, to makesure we take our chances, to sort our defence because i don't see much improvement through the season as it is...if we don't change it...to slow and down on confidence. we need our star players to wake up and start showing the way forward and a COACH a must NOW!!!

    UTG!!!
