See that the wrist slashers are out in force tonight. No surprise there of course, it's the same after every defeat against opposition that we're supposedly going to put to the sword and then the same group of players who yesterday were considered good enough to brush Everton aside become useless incompetents.

Perhaps it would be better to go into matches with more realistic expectations and then the view would be we've only dropped one point today. Disappointing for sure but hardly disastrous in the context of the season as a whole.

Also sometimes you have to give the credit where's it's due and Everton were excellent right from the first whistle and deserved the win.

Only because of bielsas team selection and tactics he is not a good manager.

It’s not wrist slashers. We have just shipped six points to teams around us and whether you like it or not, we are in the relegation mix.

Aaahhh Mr optimism who thinks that if you give a negative opinion you aren't a real fan and must be portrayed as a wrist slashing traitor, if you think that a display of that proportion isn't going to bring derision then you are sadly deluded, to lose to a team who had picked up 1 point out of 18 and where missing 5 first teamers to boot which means other teams have injuries and not just poor old us.
We where a disgrace with no player deserving more than a 5 and we are fortunate that there looks to be 3 teams that are actually worse than us, we have just thrown away another chance of putting some daylight away from that dreaded drop and in true Leeds fashion ****ed it up AGAIN,

One point… You’re sure Joffy “will improve with game time…” He’s not being selected for the U23s and not getting any game time, he really is being managed poorly where development in concerned.

Do you mean the not wrist slashers who at the beginning of the season were worrying about the prospect and tedium of mid table mediocrity ?

Posted often last year about not being ahead of ourselves and accepting there'll be plenty of challenges before we become anywhere near established enough to become a PL force. This season was always going to be about avoiding relegation to enable us to build again next summer but too many fans and it's especially internet fans demand more than is feasible at this time.

As long as we finish 17th or better it will have been a good season.

I can accept a poor performance, I can accept a defeat. I can’t accept rinse and repeating the same mistakes over and over again.

I can’t accept turning down the chance to take Van De Beek on loan and instead seeing Roberts in a Leeds shirt when we’re behind and need goals. I don’t care about Roberts work rate, fine if we were defending a two goal lead but we needed goals.

James isn’t a loan striker, yes he got two goals in the previous game but it’s just once, Harrison has been gash all season, he pops in one good performance and it’s all fine.

Several on here said Klich was out on his feet after the Villa game and he will need resting, no instead one of the best performers in the middle once again starts on the bench.

I’ve often said hindsight is great but there have been too many poor decisions this season.

If Bielsa remains next season what’s going to change? We’ll still be picking the same players, Bielsa will still want to work with a small squad, he’ll still turn down players we’re crying out for and he’ll probably sign A.N.Other winger

We’ll still struggle with injuries because either A he is over training them or B they are injury prone and Bielsa believes the rest are good enough to play several positions

    To put it bluntly....

Unless the players cut out the many basic mistakes we will go down. I've been optimistic all season but I am consistently seeing players not able to control a ball or make a simple pass. Its not improved all season. This is the first season under Bielsa that the club have gone backwards. Its clear the investment is needed in the playing staff as they are unable to play the game to the required standard.

We can credit Everton for pressing high but let's face it, we've beaten better sides with better presses before now. When players can't play a simple one two or control a pass in to feet it's time to move them on.

Yes we can have poor performances, bad days at the office. The issue is that we are heading towards March and these players are still unable to do basic things on a consistent basis. This isn't a blip in form now, this is consistent poor performances with the odd game showing glimpses of our former selves being enough to stay out of the clutches of an ever improving bottom three.

I hate to say it but if the club want to achieve its goal of pushing for Europe in the next couple of seasons we firstly have to get lucky this season to stay up and then overhaul a tired looking squad.

    Evening all.
I'm absolutely gutted about today. Just like Newcastle we couldn't build on a great performance.
    It's what we do unfortunately.
It pisses me off but it's what we do.
I have defended Bielsa because he has given us a team and style of play that is exciting and entertaining but it has it's drawbacks.
Some teams piss all over our parade.
I don't know why or how because I'm not an expert but I wouldn't trade it.
I have mates who talk about the Leeds game they watched. They want to watch us play.
I wouldn't trade that for Sam ****ing Allerdyce keeping us up with 10 behind the ball or Jose Mourinho buying players like Balotelli who play for a pay packet.
I love the ups and absolutely hate the downs but I've been a Leeds fan for too long to give up now. It's a curse being a Leeds fan because we're not **** enough for me not to dream but as soon as I think we're getting somewhere they kick me right in the bollux, like today.
If we don't win another game this season I'll be destroyed but it won't stop me supporting whoever steps out for the mighty whites.
Sorry if this pisses some of you off who think the world is glitter and fairytales. It isn't. It's ****

I love Bielsa for what he has done and the foundations he has built. I’ll support him and the 11 who step out to play but I’ll question quietly on here about the decisions he makes or the performance. I never post my thoughts on social media as I don’t want to add to any players woes.

It really pains me to say it’s time for a change at the end of this season because he’s a great guy. If we got relegated we need Bielsa to get us up again but survive this season and we need a new fresh approach. I’ve always insisted Bielsa will never get us into Europe and I stand by that belief.

We weren’t playing against a top 6 team, we were facing a team with several first team players out, who’d not won in ages, no clean sheet in 12 and have looked relegation material for the majority of the season, to top it off they’re managed by Fat Frank who again got the better of Bielsa.

Bielsa confirmed in his interview that Raphinha was a tactical substitution, he defended Tyler by saying he didn’t get any service. Asked about the result he said he made an error playing Klich in a position he shouldn’t have. Klich is better going forward, when defending he is slower at recovering.

    Great Coach. Poor Manager.

These digestive biscuits are more tactfully aware than Bielsa.

Palace, Everton and Leicester, long-established PL teams, with all the money that brings in, are having comparatively worse seasons than Leeds, who’ve only just arrived.

Time to look at the bigger picture imo. We’re very inconsistent, which is frustrating, but it means for every Newcastle (home) and Everton (away) there’ll also be a Villa (away) and West Ham (away)

That’s just how we are. And we’ll pick up enough points to stay up, just probably not in the games we expect to.
