    Final games of the season
    Brentford v Leeds
    Burnley v Newcastle
Could be interesting (if that's the right expression,as we're in it)

Fair to say we’ve ****ed up against the teams in and around us. Beat Newcastle and Everton then we have a cigar on. Personally, I’m getting seriously concerned we’re going down

If he was really as good as his reputation he'd have won more in each country he'd managed in. You can not continue playing Roberts, (never a footballer) and Harrison couldn't cross a road and expect to win regularly. Harrison hat trick new messiah, been gash all season. Our team needs to be less predictable unfortunately it won't.
Line up next time out will be more or less identical with the same tactical approach
I genuinely think we will stay up but we are bad at present, really bad.

Ell mate I don't think they will. He got us promoted... So what!!! If we had given Monk or Grayson an extra season or 2 they might have got us promoted. You don't know what could have been if those 2 had been given more of a chance or didn't leave. I'm surprised he's lasted 4 seasons with us when usually he last 2 or less and then they give him the boot... You need to ask why?

We WILL NOT pick up points over the next 3 games. If Liverpool don't tank us then I'll be very surprised. I'm holding my breath that we're not humiliated against the Scum.

I said that a lack of signing might bite us on ass in this half of the season and it is starting to prove me right.

Bielsa needs to go before it's too late but heaven forbid you say it on social media cos you'll get crucified by the rest of the fan base

Least we got 10/12 against the current bottom 3. Pretty confident they'll go down.

that’s the thing. I do understand that view point. But in the Villa game raph stayed on the whole game and his sole contribution from open play and set pieces was to give the ball to the opposition. Bielsa doesn’t pick Roberts to score goals (evidently!) he picks him because his work rate is great and his link play usually pretty good. It seems to largely go unnoticed on this site as everyone just looks at lack of goals and assists. Like I said, I understand that given his nominal position.

the reason bielsa often goes for Roberts ahead of gelhardt in my view is because while gelhardt clearly offers more of a goal threat - he doesn’t appear to have Roberts engine, link play and often appears a heads down player. I’m sure all that will improve with game time but the times where he’s started he’s been anonymous in my view.

I’m frustrated by Roberts lack of end product and I’m not saying I’d play him ahead of gelhardt… just saying I do get why bielsa has.

What you are saying is that Bielsa likes players who run round like headless chickens

If Monk or Grayson had the money Bielsa spent on loans and transfers, who knows!!!

He is overly loyal to his favourites and will never drop them. No shots on target today, and Gelhardt again just warming the bench

Were we carving out loads of chances and missing them? Getting into promising positions? If so gelhardt would be a great call. But sounded like we created fck
All.. so maybe bielsa thought he’d have stayed up top and never received a pass.

Exactly following his orders. End product? Who cares he just likes it his own way.. No goals? But look how much possession we has... Did you see the triangles? Sheer geometry

I haven't seen the match but I think options were limited when Dallas was injured. Forshaw for Klich sounds about right and Raphiniha seems injured, uninterested, tired or already packing his bags, so replacing him seems the right thing. Perhaps with more subs left Summerville for Rapha would have worked? but with only one sub left replacing Rapha with Roberts was the safe option, presumably with James going to the wing and Rodrigo as the striker, is that what happened?

I believe that Bielsa is an educated man unfortunately some of his students can’t grasp the theory of Pythagoras

I think in the case of Grayson he spent £1 million when we got promoted from league 1 on Collins and McCormack the rest he brought in on loans and frees. He signed 11 players that summer and got 7th.

I agree on the loyalty aspect. Glehadt should be starting up front with James either on the bench or on the left not stuck up as a lone striker.

We will never know where we would be now, but that was one entertaining side he was building, a bit like bielsa's but without any support or funding from the owner or board.
i am truly shocked by today on how a poor side like Everton turned us over, all i can be thankfull for is thank god, Norwich,Watford & Burnley are in the Premiership.

I don't like criticising our players but Harrison has been terrible (apart from his career saving hattrick). His crossing has been dreadful, he was anonymous in the first half today and an old geezer like Coleman had him in his pocket for the whole game. I'd have taken him off, put James out left and Joffy up front. Bielsa just keeps doing the same thing and it's not working!!! Tyler Roberts just can't score goals, and he always brings him on when we're losing. Ffs, a blind donkey could see nothing was going to change with his introduction
