I had a friend sort it out on Tuesday for me cos me and the other one were on the train to Edinburgh when they went on sale..or rather just getting off the train at Edinburgh. Boggers, being a ST holder, I get priority so that’s probably why I got one. Its not so much luck
For season ticket holders, yes. I am a mere mortal member. I completely forgot about P'boro, was the one I wanted to go to! Birmingham is a no chance. Would cost me an absolute bomb to go on my own, and my dad won't be up for going to the west midlands on a weekday evening. I have a plan B, however. Watch this space!
I think we raise our game against the better sides anyway. And just because they are spending mega bucks on players to match the teams in the top 6 doesnt mean there the man city of the league. Yeah class, Its not as if they have brought in major game changers, Now one would assume you could if you had players like silva, nasri, aguero. But leicester have danns, nugent, vassell, these are all players we should be able to deal with! Clayton will have a field day when hes up against competition who wanna try to take him on! Seriously made the portsmouth midfield look silly on Saturday. Was very ammusing may i say
I'm not sure Leicester are actually improving, they've had one good result against a decent team. And there team looks nowhere near worth the money they've spent on it.
Doncaster v Leeds = Lose Leeds v Coventry = Draw Peterborough v Leeds = Win Birmingham v Leeds = Win Leeds v Cardiff = Win Leeds v Blackpool = Win Leicester v Leeds = Draw
I think if we can keep the same lineup together there's no reason why our form will not improve. I expect Beckford will want to put one over us, but we all know that he needs 50 chances to score a goal (if we believe the wums that is). SG I'm sure will be reinforcing the mantra to players not on international duty, that we are a good side, capable of beating anyone on our day.
Which good team was that when they beat southampton 3-2 or derby 4-0 or at the time second place Brighton 1-0 the two away draws to Cardiff and boro were pretty good as well. Maybe they are not worth the money spent but the results against top teams looks good to me
I was talking about Derby, Southampton are yet to pick up a point against a team currently in the top 9, Brighton had momentum after promotion but are on the way back down to mid-table. 'Boro are punching slightly above their weight IMO but I will give you the Cardiff one. The one thing that worries me about them is that Jermaine will really want to do well.
So 7 points from our last three games although I got the Peterborough/Coventry results around the wrong way! Four tricky games to come now
so we got 11 points out of the 21 like I predicted, but got a few results around the wrong way. Still think we will make the play offs but we got to improve at home IMO
Boggers 1, a few others not so many. Oh ye of little faith. I said we'd get something out of both Leicester & Cardiff. MOT
