Haha nothing I've not said on here before. Isn't the whole moneyball thing about recognising when players are under/overvalued If we got offered 70/80 mil we'd be mental not to take it.
If he told us he wanted to leave then yeah. But if he was happy to stay then I don't see how we can buy a better replacement. The points he wins us each season and the fact he is our captain that sets the standard for the whole team is priceless.
Indeed, you keep the likes of JWP (okay he's unique atm) sell on the ones who have very much improved their value, but came to the club seeing/sold it as a stepping stone.
It all depends on the player at the end of the day, if he wants to leave to make more money he will have plenty of options. He is the heartbeat of this side and is just getting better.
Who the **** videos themselves during a game? Love the big GOAL! screen Did it show a big LOSE! at the end?
I’m not impressed by anyone discussing JWPs monetary valuation especially a supposed Saints fan Anyone who thinks you can just buy and sell ad hoc and prosper is mental Look at the most successful teams and there’s always a backbone and culture How can you complain about pundits trying to sell your best players when you do that Any sign JWP is thinking about it? NO! I don’t normally indulge in these type of discussions and won’t say any more
It’s likely very different people doing to complaining and doing the theoretical selling / valuations
Just watching motd and the da Silva tackle on targett got a red, it was the same as the spurs tackle on broja for their second.. can't get how with vat they are so inconsistent..
The challenge on Broja was in the air where he was clattered. The Dasilva one involved him going over the ball studs first on the guys lower leg. They aren’t similar in the slightest
