I think at some point though he would quite like the formal recognition of his success at being appointed mate. Most people want that in my opinion, if for no other reason he can then tell people in his own circle. It seems all very unnecessary to me for the club to not simply acknowledge him. Neil can talk about his pride at getting the job next week, that is no problem. I have no doubt they will, but it will appear too little too late, and a touch disrespectulful or incompetent.
Different opinions makes this forum the best around mate haha. Imagine if we all thought the same thing lol. We all love Safc and show our emotions different ways which is only a good thing for this forum
yeh - like at 2pm when we announce the team. That didn’t actually require the team to stand in a line and have their photos taken. Just need a statement like the reverse of the one sacking Lee Johnson. Just had text and a statement from KLD. Is all that’s really needed they could even say Alex Neil has been too busy preparing the team to do PR stuff. Would send a brilliant message

No excuse to not make a short statement from the club though mate. Its just the decent thing to do really isnt it and shows some respect to us all
Oh, I agree that he should be acknowledged and will want recognition. I'm just suggesting that if he's taken training today, and they've travelled, there might not have been time to create the content for a full announcement, because he's been concentrating on the more important stuff. Tomorrow morning, there could be photos, videos and the whole shebang, saying "here's our new manager who'll take charge today".
KLD possibly trying to find out who gives you ITK Lads information? Jokes aside, after this saga, I wouldn't be surprised if he re-evaluates his structure and people in roles.
I know. TBF it's got loads of us talking about it and that's never a bad thing. Smug made a good point about KLD telling everyone that Donald & Co were minority shareholders with no power, yet people still question it. Imagine if KLD had said f*ck all about that. There'd be accusations and conspiracy theories galore!
After the **** show of the last fortnight, I wouldn't be surprised if KLD is looking at the people around him planning a cabinet reshuffle... by that I mean P45s.
