Speaking of Grayson. He was on the radio yesterday saying Keane was best man for the job. I reckon it was Grayson's endorsement that made the club think again
He won't be able to do much in one day, but I'd expect a big reaction from the players. And I'd expect better decisions to be made from the touchline than Dodds and Proctor to change the game if needed
He did good things at Norwich. They always fall short in PL it’s just the worlds way that they gan down.
The Norwich team he had that won promotion to the Premiership at Wembley which seems a million miles away from us now, was a pretty decent team. He's got big game experience unlike McCann. Im feeling optimistic tonight.
Aye, Norwich, WBA and Fulham are the definition of yo-yo clubs. Just reading that Neil was the gaffer who signed Pritchard for Norwich as well.
I can't believe that he will be able to make much difference to our team's shattered confidence in one day, but I live in hope.
We need routine and structure. Our young team is the most talented in the league but we've serverly lacked that. Im sure now they know where their stand on Saturday theyll be on a mission to show what they can do
First half Tuesday was OK Should have been further ahead. Second half all over the place again. Don't think it will take a massive tweak to beat Wimbledon but the confidence lift will be massive
Watched that game in a social club in suffolk with my in laws who are norwich. Oddly it was full of boro fans and was edgy in there. Had to take my elderly father in law back to our holiday house at half time because he wasnt comfortable. I went back to watch mind and enjoyed the celebrations as an honorary Norwich fan.
Best of luck to him. Mind some will call him **** even before he has picked team Just hope he can last more than a year
Get it announced and let the hard work start now! An upgrade on Johnson just a shame the way it’s played out, could have had 2 winnable games for his baptism. Haway the lads
I feel our management took their eye off the ball in they're pursuit of JD and RK once they had sacked LJ. Us fans got overly giddy about these two returning to the club and the club has let results slip. Have the squad been distracted by JD joining them, or the loss of LJ was a bigger blow to them than most of us expected. Who knows? If it's Alex Neil then fair enough but he's got to hit the ground running and we need that new manager lift to last 15 games. HTL.....it's never dull supporting our club.
It’ll be interesting to see what he does with the team in the coming weeks, will he be similar with his team set up to LJ or will he try and implement a new system. I think it will be quite similar with tweaks. We don’t really have time to learn something new.
