Watford v Brighton. Watford sit one point off bottom, but Burnley have two games in hand on us. Our last win was on November the 20th, the eleven games since then our record reads: L L L L L L L D L D L - 2 points from 33. It really is ****e being a Watford fan sometimes, I for one, almost long for the Championship. But, if we could save ourselves then next season might be ok, ¿Verdad? Woy and Ray have been in charge for the last two games, in the latest developemnts, in what is turning out to be another managerial merry-go-round season. Their mission is plain and simple - Keep the Hornets up. I feel for W&R, they deserve better, but must be doing it for the love of the game. At their age, I'd just be happy to be alive and well. We've lost the most amount of games in the league as the table stands at the moment. However, for Watford, there are 16 games remaining. Sarr might well be back. The new signings might gell and it is not out of our hands until it is mathmatically impossible, according to those more positive than me. Survival can still be done. It is the hope that kills you, as we seemingly effortlessly free fall back to the Championship. ¡¡COYH COYH COYH!! Enjoy the game, or at least try to. I am off to see my Surgeon, so will bow out graciously.
The run has got me down, we all invest a lot of time in reading / watching / listening about the club. I won't hold me breath. But, there is still survival hope. Games are slowly running out mind. The most positive thing were the Brighton colours Oh, and your attitude! Thanks!
Things have improved considerably already, credit to the new coaches for that. Luck and circumstance have been against us still. Time is definitely not on our side. A confidence boost is required. An early goal would help.
NO other wayt to put it..... A MUST WIN.... I will miss it too as we have grandkids with us for the w/e
Nothing on Sarr yet but presume he is back . EDIT: Back in training tomorrow. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/watford-hodgson-ismaila-sarr-brighton-b981889.html Etebo not ready yet
I think we're pretty much at the end of the road already, but if we are going to stay up, we have to win against mid-table sides at home.
After watching Sarr play his part in the AFCON games. I think he would be able to start. Why not? We need all the help we can get.
Between not training with the team recently, the new coaches at all, a bit of jet lag in the legs (and this is where we find out if he's had injections up to his eyeballs) I think he'll make the bench at best for Saturday. Welcome back, all the same!!
Not really looked "up" in the table, as well, might get a nose bleed. Brighton are 9th - that's damn solid. They are draw specialists too! And, they have only scored as many as us. This is a nailed on home win. Get down the bookies and well, Sad Ken is the number: *Disclaimer - no relations to "king" Ken.
