So true. There is no possible way to put a positive spin on this shameful chaos. They clearly do not know what they are doing.
If people are still after a “big name” manager to give the place a lift, who could that be? I see people saying Neil and McCann won’t lift people the way keane would have. Manning or Edwards would have been great but they’re not that person either. so if that’s the criteria some people want - for those people who could an alternative be? Big Sam? not for one second suggesting big Sam!!!
He's more posher than Bruce. I once asked him what the crack was, he said "I can't say Barll" on the radio.
Neil for me seems similar to LJ but less of a smug arrogant twat and more of a nasty bastard. Might be a great fit
They might if it a good financial offer, and moving from a lesser team to a potential big club. Someone like Liam Manning from MK Dons Paul Warne from Rotherham yes they will go up this year, but SAFC is a bigger challenge. There are others.
Fair enough if so. But those facts could and should have been determined in the first hour of the first meeting. Then if they couldn't afford it, back off. Now, nearly two weeks on, we are scrambling around like a drunken bloke in a dark room looking for the light switch. Pathetic beyond description.
but they’re in stable jobs, both with currently more chance of promotion to championship that Sunderland. And both less likely to be sacked where they are now than if they come to us and don’t with 15 out of 16 games. It’s a no brainer unfortunately. Ask them in the summer and it should be a no brainer in the opposite direction
That would've been established on day 1 though surely. Think it's bollocks that money was the reason mesel.
Furious about the way this has been handled, Neil all day long for me over McCann but the board have lost a lot of confidence from the supporters
Yeh keane earns way more at sky than he could dream to get as a manger. No chance he’d want us to match it, so that’s bull
If their salary was greatly increased and or they want a challenge at a big club. They might never get the chance again, as opposed to staying with MK Dons with likely instant relegation.
