KLD needs to get more involved now if this is down to Speakman, possibly sacking him. He’s a young owner on a massive learning curve, which isn’t good for us at the moment, but it might benefit us in the long run.
I’m strangely more calm about this than I thought I would be.

Dunno what you expect coming on to our board at a time like this. If any of us even registered that Hull still exist we still wouldn't bother going on your board because you are so irrelevant

What makes you think he's causing all the issues?

He seems to be the guy everyone wants to blame, even though we have no idea what has happened.

Devil’s advocate time. Is there a void? We have Keane. Who most (me included to some extent) think is the right man. In reality, he’s not held any position of note with any success since he got us promoted nearly 15 years ago.

Other names aren’t as exciting (McCann etc.) but at least they have managed to some relevant success level recently.

Keane was, according to a lot of fans, all we needed. No idea why they came to that conclusion.

Thus isn’t me saying I want McCann (far from it) but whoever comes in will certainly get my full support. I’ll support the players on the field under Warnock! I detest the man as an individual! Also put him in the Ainsworth/Parkinson mould of manager!

What is the point of getting on a manager’s back just, effectively, because they’re not Roy Keane?

Whatever happens, I’m still SAFC and I’ve got the black cat tattooed on me forever.

I'm not normally one for overreations.... but to be fair, he's taken far too long to get this sorted. His process has cost us 6pts and all the goodwill of the fans.

I liked him before this, and while the Jan window wasn't perfect etc. I was happy with him running things.

From what people are saying, and how long it's taken though this past week or two have massively undermined everyone's confidence in Speakman.

ITKs laying the blame at his door as well.

I feel massively deflated by this whole thing. It appears we’ve dragged our feet with this whole process. Speak man has spoken of a system where coaches are tracked in the background for when changes happen. If so why wasn’t a coach suitable for the club sounded out before LJ left. If it’s one off the old merry go round then their system will do us no better than the same methods we’ve always used. I fear we will either have another wait or an uninspiring appointment. I can’t see them doing anything that will get the feel good factor back. I hope I’m wrong

We're just interested if McCann joins you, he may just be the one to do it for ya.

It should have been identified early doors that Keanes demands were too high and he was not being considered, if that is indeed the case.

The whole things smacks of inexpeience in the boardroom. Experienced chairman etc get these things nailed in less that 7 days max.

All emotions and jokes aside, in reality, we're a leauge one club now. We loan young inexperienced players, hire young sometimes inexperienced managers, sign freebies with the odd fee for some players from leauge one. So, it'll probably be McCan or Neil, or someone like Jody Morris that's having a stab at management. Time will tell. Going forward, huge huge pinches of salt to be taken in the future. FTM

I'm not fussed if it was Keane or not but its taken far too long and has basically destroyed our season. KLD needs to sort
