Cats don't count for much sadly, if you run one over you don't have to report it. Whatever happens he'll end up with a slapped wrist and perhaps a bit of community service. But a meaningful donation to the RSPCA, like £100k or so, would be the best result we could get.
Somebody posted earlier he should be made to do work at a rescue centre cleaning up ****, My daughter did that for her DofE award, cleaning the cat houses. Believe me its 'kin horrible!

 

Absolutely agree, I was trying to think about it from the cat's perspective. Actually I shouldn't think about the cat's perspective - the thought of someone deliberately tormenting her or any animal, especially one that trusts you and regards you as head of the pack - well it's on the same page as child cruelty as far as I'm concerned.

Its also raised questions in my mind about Moyes' judgment.

Animal charity the RSPCA has taken West Ham defender Kurt Zouma's two pet cats away after videos emerged on social media of him kicking and slapping one of them.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is liaising with Essex Police about the incident.


France international Zouma has apologised and West Ham say they are dealing with the issue "internally".

"The two cats are now in RSPCA care," said a charity spokesperson.

"Our priority is and has always been the wellbeing of these cats.

"They've been taken for a check-up at a vets and then will remain in our care while the investigation continues.

"We're grateful to everyone who expressed their concern for these cats. We were dealing with this issue before the video went viral online and are leading the investigation.

"We continue to investigate so we cannot comment further at this time."

Two cats have been taken from their home and family without a clue why and the kids will be missing their family pets.

Just sad and stupid all round. No one’s a winner.

 

The kids were present when daft lad was abusing them, I'd say it is a bloody good lesson to learn, treat with respect or lose it. God knows what else he has subjected the animals too off camera !
