Just need to get it into your heads that supporting Sunderland will always be ****e and when there is a chink of light squeezing through the door it will always get slammed shut in your face. Ffs after we beat Sheff Wed 5-0 I dared to contemplate that we were gonna win this league. Not long after this happens. Should have known better. Don't think there is ever been a football club who are constantly grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory like we do, whether it's a single match, over a month or an entire season, if it can be cocked up it is cocked up Sunderland style. On paper this shouldn't be happening, oh wait, its Sunderland, it will happen.

This is my ballanced view of our situation.... if these bunch of ****heads don't get their ****ing act together, we could be outside the playoff positions within the next two games. Since I sat and watched us fall through the leauges, I now wait to he impressed rather than giving players the benefit of the doubt. How this lot have managed to get to the 50 point mark is beyond me. I'll support through thick and thin, but it's becoming more embarrassing each week. 3 defeats in a row to teams near the bottom. And i hope the snowflakes in the dressing room are prepared for Roy Keane because for me, he can give the ****in lot both barrels. Unless prats.

I'd say the reason they have won the games they have is mostly because they are good with the ball when a team backs off , or when they are ahead.

But all a team has to do is push back and they crumble.

Ironically I don't really blame Dodds. I'm sure he's aware he ain't a manager. Our plan A all season has been to play short passes from the back through the middle and into the forwards. Teams know this so pack space in the middle to stop it. A simple thing to do at this level as we ain't Man City who play through crowded areas. Our plan B is to play sideways passes in defence then lump the ball to Stewart who to be fair wins his fair share but there's no one within 20 yards of him so we lose out every second ball.

Teams also know our defence is weak as piss so get the ball forward as quick as possible but actually have men supporting there striker so they actually have some hope of retaining the ball in our final third. We concede a lot of what I would call league 1 goals aka scruffy scrambles or deflected shots purely as teams spend enough time in our area for these situations to arise. Most of the goals we score look good as everything about them needs to be perfect as we are always outnumbered when attacking.

We have looked quality in games this season but we've also looked National league level at times. I hate to say it but we need to be able to play League one football to win games like tonight's. Save the fancy stuff for the last 20 mins when we are 3 goals up.

We are Leeds! Seem to be doing precisely what they did. Years in the doldrums. As an optimist, even the light at the end of the tunnel appears to be a distant dot now!

One more thing. There is too much playing for themselves going on. Looking for the glory or trying to look good.

I’m so ****ed off watching that ****e tonight. This club seems determined to crush ANY goodwill it’s fans had towards them. Nee owners, managers and players. Same ****ing ****e week after week.

this ****ing club does NOT deserve the support it has had over the last 30-40 years. Maybe we should all **** the club off a d go a d do something else on a Saturday. I’m ****ing sick of being angry after each game cos we can’t do the ****ing basics like defend a ****ing long ball.

what the actual **** do they do in training. Surely someone can see our ****ing weaknesses and try and fix them.

What I don’t understand is why we repeatedly cannot see out a match with the same players we start the game with, they cannot keep up a performance for more than 45 minutes out of 90. Surely any team picked should be good enough as professional players to take instruction from the sidelines and stop doing the **** that puts us under this pressure, we should not have reinvent the wheel every week cos they cant follow basic instructions being bellowed from the sidelines.
Are they doing this **** on purpose because they don’t want to go up? Maybe the bosses should be telling them the only chance they have of being here next season is if we are promoted. If we aren’t the whole ****ing lot of them will be peddled.

Yep, this feeling tonight is up there with the very worst when it comes to SAFC. Genuinely can’t believe the mess we’re in.

Agree. Am teetering on the edge here. 38 years of going to games, spending thousands of pounds and thousands of hours for what? 3 cup final defeats, 5 play off defeats, at least 7 relegations. Why do I ****ing bother?

When we got relegated from the Championship it felt like the lowest ebb. I jokingly said to the lads "the lowest ebb SO FAR"

    What little I knew.

46 years old and absolutely on my ****ing knees with this club. Losing to ****ING CHELTENHAM???

This is my first since 2011 when my daughter was born. On this showing it’s probably my last. We are witnessing a great old club dying. Strangled by processes and management bullshit bingo.

Feeling the excitement of this season drain away slowly like a turd being flushed down the ****ter.
