No but I believe what my calendar says. 7/8 days without a head coach/manager at this point of the season is stupidity. Should have been somebody in place, ready to come in.
Your calendar told you that SAFC were running second interviews this week? it's more serious than I thought.
Gotta laugh mate, with the sh1tshow that is safc. My first away game on the infamous night at Goodison all those years ago should have primed me for what to expect. Never runs smoothly for us...still the greatest team the world has ever seen mind.
We shouldn't need the the Keane effect, but yeah, Saturday clearly shows we need it. If he's not in for that game, I can see more dropped points.
We have temporary charge to a guy who was appointed by LJ...used (pretty much) the same team and same set up as LJ..... no surprise we get the same outcome. Yes its time for a new pair of eyes, a new thought process and someone to life the whole place....we need it NOW...not tomorrow or the next day...right NOW
You'll find he was appointed by Speakman mate. I agree with your overall sentiments we could really do with the new guy in now. Saturday starting lineup and first half performance was shocking.
This needed to have happened already. Another day's training gone, a match tomorrow gone. 15 left after that. After the weekend, we needed someone in place or announced yesterday for me. Can't have this drag out too much longer
I very much doubt the club are deliberately dragging things out. I doubt Keane is an easy man to negotiate with and he holds all the cards after the speculation this weekend. I'd rather they took their time and got it right ahead of the Wimbledon game than rush things through and appoint the wrong man just because he's available (Lennon/McCann ctc)
Absolute farce it’s looking like we are going in to tomorrow’s game with them two jokers at the helm again, jury is seriously out on the likes of Speakman atm
If I'm Keane and it gets done today. I am saying to the board that I want that game tomorrow night. Keane's not stupid he knows that we are running out of games, hopefully words before the game and mix it up. Start Hume, Clarke, Roberts Matete and Arby. Drop Gooch, Neil and Embo and Doyle to the bench. This should have happened for the Saturday game.
Realistically we are now looking at the play offs at best - the longer this drags on we are giving up on this season and looking at another season in League 1. The way our form is at the minute we'll be struggling to stay in the play offs.
Surely we can have it all tied up sometime this morning to give whoever the new manager is, hopefully Keane, an afternoon with the players before Cheltenham.
Not the mentality to have. Top 2 very much on. Weve got to get the mind set that we can win every game left this season. Something Keane would bring
A new manager could be taken training today and doing the media stuff this afternoon. To get another day with the team?
Even if that was the wrong person? What if Keane said yes, but wait until I've given notice to ITV and done the FA Cup weekend or Grant McCann says I'll start tomorrow and take the team v Doncaster What would you prefer?
