Even if it is today, that's cutting it a bit fine for the Cheltenham game. We can't expect a result with him in the door for 24hrs. That is of course if it's his first game in charge. He may resume control after the Cheltenham game, giving himself 3 days to prepare for his first match. Hopefully we do get a result, but it wouldn't be on him if we didn't with so little time to prepare.
We shouldn't need the Keane effect to get a result tomorrow. Having said that, we should have got a result on Saturday That one stings more than the Bolton game. Complete apathy seems to have set in amongst the squad and they need a ****ing rocket up their arses
I was living in the same area, just off Kippax St, at a similar time. At least two drug dealers on our street and plenty of other things going on. Taxi drivers would often insist we got out as soon as they were at the edge of Rushmolme on Claremont Road. I remember me and my mate running through Moss Side in our SAFC tops the morning of the Charlton Play Off final. Partly running as we didn’t want to miss the train and partly because even at 7 or 8 in the morning on a weekend it was still a bit edgy.
