No chance gotta be Square plugs in round hole only. Where in the modern training manuals does it say players should be played in there natural position.
I remember a brilliant put down. I was in our end but was spending the weekend with City fan friends . Walking back to their car after game a huge Sunderland lad drew alongside some City fans and looked down on this little lad of about eight. He didn’t mean to be nasty or threatening, just a bit crack, but he couldn’t help that he just looked a thug . He said to lad” I thought you might have given us a chance today”. The simple reply from this tiny kid of “ we did” had the pavement in hysterics
My over riding memory of that day (I was there too) was that for whatever reason Man City were trying to let us win...and we still got beat lol
Hmm 2nd Interviews starting this week? Leads me to believe the wallies in charge yesterday, will be for Tuesday evening, and possibly next weekend. Please to god, anyone but McCann (or Lennon).
By this week does he mean this coming week or the week just gone? Suppose it depends on the outlook if the week starts on Monday or Sunday.
Some day down at City. Will never forget it. First time I heard us singing "Always look on the bright side of life". United fans copied it the next Wednesday in Europe. Other lads on this thread have mentioned the James song "Sit Down". My favourite song. Great day, crap result.
If you look closely one will post something and that's copied and rephrased just as it was with Defoe and his 'options' yet when he was interviewed on SAFC it was clear he'd signed well before these stories.
If those in charge need a second interview then they shouldn't be in charge. Not thst second interviews are happening in my opinion
And the club cannot say anything until our new manager has signed the contract. You don’t turn down your 2nd/ 3rd choice candidates (if you think they are suitable) until the 1st choice deal is done. Some of those sources will be from other potential managers who’ve had a first interview.
Keane has made it to the second stage. A simple presentation infront of higher management. Simon Grayson will help him with this.
