Rotherham have only conceded 18 goals in 29 games, they can actually defend. A much better team than we are, as shown in the 5-1 hammering.

Confidence or turmoil is my worry though. Yes I think he is the best choice to tell the home truths that are needed, certainly in the short term, but he can be brutal at times and will the players be capable of responding in a positive way.
To be clear, Keene would be my choice at the moment, but a part of me feels it will all end in tears yet again.
For the long term, I think we should look at younger up and coming coaches in the mould of that Australian lad or take MK Dons lad or similar.

What’s Speakman going on about then? Don’t doubt you for a minute mate, but Speakman was blabbering on about fact finding and **** yesterday?

seems a bit chaotic to me.

If Speakman had done that he'd have been ridiculed tbh.

The blame lies with the players imo.

I've had enough of players being tired or inexperienced, they should've battered Doncaster.

I know we're all angry but you have to choose your targets.

I think it only seems chaotic because we're privy to @Prehab26 's info. The majority of folk aren't. So, based on what Speakman said, it may seem ponderous to them but not chaotic in my opinion.

After yesterday I am not sure why Keane would come if honest. Johnson would have got us to play offs and that is now Keanes job. He may lift them a bit but with Hoffman and that defence there is no way we will make top 2 anymore.

We are closer to being 7th than going up and that's because we are not good enough at the back. If Keane can see Neil Doyle Evans Gooch need to be dropped it will be a start but it just feels a pointless appointment after yesterday's embarrassment

You could understand him coming after the 6-0 defeat but after yesterday is a different matter?

Lets hope which ever manager comes in doesn't have such a defeatist attitude.... Yes we have problems with defence, yes we have a huge issue with confidence. I'm more than optimistic if a manager comes in and deals with these players in the right way...plus make a centre back signing then we have every chance of promotion

What, do you mean the press too? I thought most people were saying it's not as far advanced as we were being told by those who know on here? I don't pay too much attention to the sports media though if I'm being honest.
