Very fair post mate. I probably am too emotional on it now. It is 100% a mix of coaches and players. I think both are accountable. I am a coach myself so am in the union I suppose. Players never pay with their jobs, coaches do. I feel at times I have to stick up a bit for Johnson because there is a lot of unneccesary criticism of him, in my opinion, that descends to childish name calling. I admit to being to defensive of him. I do think he was good enough for this level, but that is long gone.

I worry if they need much motivation to be honest. Imagine going out there today in front of that crowd and needing a coach to get you up for it. Maybe they have had tok much carrot and not enough stick.

Bottom line I dont think it is all on players. At times they have been asked to play an almost impossible role, like Winchester at CB. We have put ourselves behind the 8 ball in terms of our defensive recruitment. I also dont think our coaches do a good job with subs and influence from the touchline. I do think you have to be able to motivate yourself, and demand more of yourselves as sportsman. There are players who arent performing now, just like there are coaches who are probably not performing.

Today summed up everything that’s been wrong with us lately We have created a team that is weak mentally and physically. Could not believe that they picked the same team as last weak and guess what same problems no midfield exposed defence Stewart isolated then guess what same team back out second half same tactics. Bloody clueless We are in desperate need of a fresh set of eyes and someone to just bloody organise us into a football team. This is not the premier we are in the bloody third division and being beat off bottom team Apologies for the rant but after all our short comings lately can’t believe what I watched today

**** me I did not see that coming today. This must be our lowest ebb. Surely we can sink no further. Get Keane in and get him in now. These ****ing cowards need a rocket up their arses. Not one player on that pitch today gets any credit. Pathetic

quick word on the crowd though. Booing and jeering does nothing to help the team. Thought the atmosphere was made worse by the 8k part timers who have stayed away since Moyes was here.

In many ways I think that you are right.
Speakman would have had a list coaches that he would recommend to the owner however when Keane put his name forward things changed massively, in my view, as he would not have been on Speakmans list. Now further reviews will have to be made and considered before a decision is made.

Whoever comes in certainly has their work cut out although I very much doubt Keane, or 99% of other managers, would take a 6-0 pasting and decide to play the same team and setup the next game.

I doubt it was just 'part timers' who booed mate, there weren't any at Bolton.

People have every reason to have been put off going, over the last few years ...

... they came back to support a change in the club and found things exactly the same.

We missed a bit chance to engage those 8,000 today.

I will be honest mate, it was the windbag comment that made me reply, I need to get over Johnson and my obsession with him. We disagree but I respect 100% your opinon.

90% of us would have started them today assume you mean Roberts.. I mean the selection was so utterly cowardly it’s almost unbelievable after last week. Dodds and proctor managed to suck the life out of the mood with the stroke of a pen on a team sheet. Struggling for weeks which loses Johnson his job so the brains trust decide to continue the same vein because they didn’t have the bottle to shake it up in a free hit for them.

Spineless coaches not fit for purpose on the rare occasion they have to step up to the plate - should be run out the club as well imo.
