Has anyone upgraded to Windows 11. If so, what's the experience so far? I keep getting pop-ups to upgrade but haven't done so yet
It's utter ****ing horse manure. I wouldn't bother upgrading. It's all ****ing cosmetic. Stick with Windows10. Don't know why the boss had to frequent Epstein's *****phile Island for this pish.
You're thinking of Windows S mode. Windows 10 and Windows 11 can both be run in that mode which restricts installable software to apps from the Windows Store. It's enabled by default on tablets like the Microsoft Surface but usually not on PC's. Even if enabled S mode can easily be turned off.
You can't right click on the task bar and go to task manager. When you right click on a file it defaults to options that I don't want, and I have to go to 'show more options' to get to the classic context menu in order to do stuff like rename the file. That's the only two differences I've noticed. It's basically just a reskin of Windows 10. You'll all have to update eventually, I have a friend who hasn't conceded that he would ever upgrade from Windows 7. He obviously has, he's a moron.
