Is it worth refreshing the phone and feed today or just save the battery and enjoy the atmosphere and beers, anything expected to be announced
One thing that struck me is that kicking the ball, quite hard, at the goal often results in goals. I'm puzzled that, at a time we're facing L1 keepers, we seem reluctant to shoot. Neil, Embleton, Gooch, Winchester, etc, can all strike a ball but don't get enough shots away imo. SHOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!
I’m going to Asda for a breakfast then I’m gonna start on the ale, gotta feeling today is not gonna be a good day it’s gonna be a great day haaaaaaaaaawaaaaaaaaaay!
Just checking my messages and have one saying there's a rumour that Keane, despite guesswork about bringing in his own staff, hasn't asked for that*. TBH I'd be surprised if he has any staff, surely anyone who's any good is already working. Besides it's surely too late in the season for more disruption. @Prehab26 have you heard anything mate*.
Be worse tomorrow as didn't let it get bad and carried on drinking this morning deal with the after effects tomorrow
Thank you mate and to @Wheatsheaf @Prehab26 for all the info suppose we all just get itchy feet and impatient when waiting for big news incoming and been there before when it's fell through
I have to admit that in that video I was surprised at the amount of goals we scored from outside the 18 yard box
I don't post much these days, in all honesty some of the stuff I'm sent obviously isn't genuine. I'm always wary that the Chronicle are stirring things. But there's half a dozen people who are pretty consistent including one who looks on here but never posts. He asked me to post the "Defoe is back" thread before it was announced which could've come back to bite me ... ... no idea what his game is as I don't actually know him but I find it quite funny. It's him who's mentioned Keane not wanting to bring an entourage, sounds plausible.
I like to pretend I'm all level headed and analytical when it comes to football. I was saying that signing Defoe wouldn't necessarily have been the route I'd have gone down and that I have a load of reservations about Keane coming back not least because of how it may affect our newly found progressive model. But **** me I am so giddy with excitement about todays match - I've been dancing round the house since 7am, woke up my family belting out Hotstepper and Hay Jude. I can't wait for the buzz at the pub before the match and around the ground. It's unthinkable that it's only a week since I felt so low after Bolton. In summary, **** level headed analysis. This is what football is all about, pure romance! It may be ill informed and it may all come crashing down but boy am I going to enjoy the moment before it does.
