Fergie wasn't a coach as such, and certainly didn't t spend every training session with the squad, Muelensteen was the man in charge day to day, thats what we need, an influential, experienced sidekick who has a mutual trust of Keano. It'll be interesting to see his bootroom.

I've said it b4 but the negative boring farts can do one. The ITK's on here are the best. Thats based on consistently getting their stuff correct over a length of time. Why would they put themselves up for ridicule unless they know their stuff. Some ppl just enjoy putting others down. Nowt but gobshite keyboard warriors.

He’s older, wiser, calmer, more experienced & doesn’t take himself too seriously anymore. He is fond of our club & the supporters, it all looks a cracking fit to me. He is still box office and will raise our profile again, he will get the place rocking & the players will take him seriously, we have some cracking young midfielders so who better to learn from. I can’t wait!

But this is my point. We have a model where we have a head coach, not a manager. Therefore, we need a head coach, not a figurehead manager.

They probably asked if they could mention it, like you say I doubt they were allowed to just ask what the crack was and expect details. It's obvious Wright knows the crack as is wished him all the best. I also doubt he is a short term appointment, hence guarantees on several outcomes.

Have we ever had a manager come back for a 2nd stint (not counting Stokoe as it was a Caretaker position)?

I don’t necessarily disagree with you but if KLD thinks this is the best way forward I’m sold on it.
And how good is it that two people with the standing of Keane and Defoe want to be back at our club for a second time. It’s unreal in my eyes and can only be a positive, if we go up it might help us attract a better player than if LJ was still here.

but we don't have a 'set in stone' model, read Speakmans comments. we're flexible enough to adapt our system to our needs (defoe) .... rigid systems don't work.

Agreed. Some people get info. That info is accurate at the time. things change but the ITKs often then get bashed for things out of their control,

Long may it continue. Am absolutely bouncing tonight and cannot wait for tomorrow
