Yeah, you make some very good points. I suppose my main concern is that Keane (and Warnock if its true he was interviewed) feel like 'safe' choices to me. It worries me that KLD has been put off from appointing an up and coming coach that's maybe not as well-known because Johnson wasn't universally popular. And that's essentially what excited me about KLD- doing things based on potential rather than reputation.
Kisnorbo has managed 17 games in Australia and nowt else. Would be ridiculous when we have 3 months to win 12/13 games out of 17

In all honesty the aim of the game has to be promotion this season. KLD cannot really afford to make a mistake in who he appoints. There are no guarantees that any appointment he makes will achieve that ambition but in my opinion I would prefer an experienced head over the unknown any day. I don’t want to see us appoint a recently sacked manager, I want to see us take an in form manager from a club at a higher level ideally but wouldn’t be upset with an out of work experienced manager with lots of experience in the championship or above. (Or equivalent abroad). I think back to when Johnson was brought in, I remember he divided fans down the middle from the start. I don’t want that this time round, appoint someone that will excite and bring the fans together. This Aussie won’t do that unfortunately.
That's not true. Wikipedia is wrong. He was appointed in Sept 2020 and won the double in his first season in charge. Its impossible to have only been in charge for 17 games in a 12 team league. He's actually been in charge for 37 games and was assistant before that.
