Cracking post mate. Makes me soften my view somewhat. I agree a strong personality is needed, probably in most head coaches role actually, it is a lonely job. I know what you mean about him not walking away from football. However, he does have a habit of quitting football gigs, Republic in the world cup, us, Villa, Forest. I do wonder how much he can really take before he chucks it in. He isnt like a young hungry coach trying to make his way. He will walk back to ITV and paid to scowl and shake his head.
I don't think anythings changed when you read or hear about his clash with Harry Arter and Jon Walters. He accused both players of feigning injury, despite both being told to rest because of knocks by the ROI medical team. It ended up with Walters having a go back and Arter laughing at him for ranting at them, calling them pricks and ****ers. That was only 4 years ago.
Maybe he is used to players playing through injuries and doesn't suffer soft arse players. Either way if he comes back standards are raised. I would be happy with expecting the best
imagine it's Keane. We will have went from a dressing room where standards have been set be the likes of Lee Johnson and Tom Flanagan to one lead by People of the ilk of Roy Keane and Jermaine Defoe. Too long we've been told by our own directors, managers etc we need to accept where we are?! **** that! That's how victims act. The mentality at Sunderland should be reject being in this **** league with your entire being. Get into them and **** them up!
How many account names have you got (I know that you won't reply) ? Same stupidly disruptive posts . . . . just a different name
Roy Keane with O'Shea in as his assistant would be decent. Retaining the likes of Dodds, Preece and English for continuity
Just need to get Jordan Henderson in in a couple of years to see us into the Premier League and job's a goodn
