If Keano was manager and he asked me to walk thru a minefield I'd do it. If the likes of Parky, Ross etc asked me I'd say on your bike m8 . We've got the players, all they need is to be led.
The city group aren't just man city though, I reckon they'd rather keep him than us taking him personally. Who knows the mate, all opinions
They don’t have another club of our stature mate, and none of their other clubs would test him in England. Troyes or Girona ain’t gonna get you anywhere near ready for Premier League. Vieira is still ‘one of there’s’ to a degree as well.
IMO it's defo worth a detailed conversation. We have 4 month to turn it around and catch a top 2 that have games in hand and points advantage. We need standards and a real never say die belief. Worth the risk to pull it back.
Are we talking about a different Kisnorbo here? The one I'm aware of has managed a grand total of 17 career games, in the bloody Australian league?
Seems very odd to have put all this effort into revamping the club structure and recruitment just to hand the keys over to a guy who hasn't managed in 10 years but will shout at the players if we lose
Looks like all the sound bites coming from the club are saying they just want to get us up then look at it again in may, it seems they just want somebody who will bring a load of momentum and just get us over the line
I'd quite like someone to instil a bit of standards and accountability to be honest. I also don't see how Keane wouldn't be a fit for "the structure". He's on record saying that he loves working with the players/preparing for the next game - he just doesn't enjoy the other parts of club management (academy, contracts, medical stuff etc). All stuff he wouldn't have to do with under "the structure".
You need to have a read up on him. Much better fit than a bloke who had a good run for a season 15 years ago.
No chance that anyone who gets us promoted isn't kept on next year. Why would the club dispense with someone who was doing a good job and getting the results we need?
Read what? A grand total of 17 match reports from the Red Lion v The Dog and Duck or the Old Barrel? And a better fit for what, exactly?
This This is the thing, in that promotion season we won countless games with l8 goals when it looked lost. Get him in b4 Saturday it'll take the roof off and what a ride it'll be. The other names just don't excite me at all. "HAWAY ROY KEANE'S SUNDERLAND"!!!
