It shouldn't get relegated. For me, I'd have Shelvey out, Bruno central in front of the defence and Willock in. Or Shelvey in but more advanced, take him off when he (inevitably) tires. It's been suggested that Howe wants to go to a back 3 and sees Burn/Schar either side of Lascelles? Not sure if that's just bollocks, as surely you're buying Bruno to help a back four and push you further up the pitch, but I can see a situation where we go to a 5-3-2 as well (so from your line-up, Fraser drops out in favour of another CB, and ASM plays off Wood).
People seem to think lacelles is being replaced, but he's not going to be imo and Shelvey will certainly play. I don't agree with that, but I'm 99% certain that's going to be the case. This game is huge for both clubs.. I feel less confident now Everton have brought in Lampard along with VBK and delli Alli. Delli Alli people have written off, but he's capable of world level performances on his day. VDB? Was he ever given a chance at man united? Have they both got something to prove? I say yes and I also think Lampard will give them a lift. We really need 3 points, but honestly I think a draw wouldn't be the worst result for us. Just don't get beat whatever happens do not lose.
I can see the 5-3-2 happening too but ASM is a bit of a problem I think on this system. I'm really not that keen on him playing more centrally but if you are going to have your full backs higher up the pitch the he either needs to or his place is in question. If fit I'd rather have Wilson playing in a 2 and Maxi is certainly not going to play as a wingback or indeed as part of a 3 in the middle.
I can see it being between those two formations. Plan A, front foot 4-3-3 (Max playing on the left). Against tougher opposition or away from home, switch to 5-3-2 or even 5-2-3 - Max can play in the latter, but ideally in a 5-3-2 it's Wood/WIlson. If it's a lone striker, go with Wilson.
No, **** 5 at the back. We need to go forward. I never want to see 5 at the back again, we look miles better when we try to dig deep with 5 midfielders and flood the midfield. Our midfield has always been our strongest asset, where as our defence the weakest.
No need to play Shelvey for me. We don’t need those types. I like the idea of Bruno, Willock and Joelinton. You’ve got a bit of everything in there. One game does not make up for years of **** and laziness. Our midfield can be mobile and pressing with intent now.

Btw, we are unbeaten in 3 and just won against a Leeds who were on a winning run. They slammed into us like a brick wall. I think we are a lot better under Howe, now we just signed 5 was it? All straight in the 11 and better than what we have. Im hopeful.
I agree, I think that's the best we can do while Wilson is out. Wouldn't mind Almiron instead of Willock but either way one subs on for the other. Only thing that bothers me in that line up is the lack of capitalisation on some players names!
Yeah I did toy with almiron but I spotted willock and max linking up well a few times vs Leeds and thought willock was a good shout for motm. Unfortunately I think we all know lacelles and Jonjo will start.
