Not sure where this idea of no more foreign players comes from? You can arrange a medical remotely and agree terms, player doesn't have to be onsite.

Still, bit of a flat end to what could have been quite exciting. Still hoping for one more rabbit from the hat, but it looks like the best we can hope for now is Lingard so hardly amazing.

You don't even need a medical. Contracts can be signed 'subject to medical' and they are still valid as having met the deadline.
