Just been on the official Cheltenham site and Gold Cup day is sold out in all 3 enclosures. Pretty shocked at this as never had an issue buying tickets in January before. Anyone know of any other sites that would sell tickets that are not rip off prices.? Any enclosure will do.
I think it would be worth dropping the course an email and ask if any further tickets are likely to be released in time. I’m wondering if they’ve got a cap below capacity with covid potential. Otherwise it’ll be resale sites and high prices.
Contacted them and said no further tickets to go on sale, but any returns will be put on the website. No returns waiting list. might do 3 days, Tue - Thu, instead of usual 2 days.
I would recommend that. I was saying this weekend that if I hadn't got members badge, I wouldn't be attending Gold Cup day.
