I'll be honest I always thought Roy Keane's rep was a load of bollox - however I guarantee he would have something to say about this type of behaviour from someone representing his team.
Obviously this stuff goes on throughout society and not just in football, but is it really as prevalent in the rest of society as it is among young footballers? I am genuinely out of touch and don't know. The number of young footballers who seem to have a view that women are there to be used and get involved in situations like this suggests to me that clubs have a responsibility to do more educating of these young men when they are throwing money at them. I find it ridiculous that anyone would need educating about this as it seems like a matter of human decency, but clearly there is a big issue.

Theres a documentary series on Netflix called the puppet master about a guy who technically didn’t kidnap them, but used manipulation and just got in their heads. They were in theory free to leave at points but helps they couldn’t for whatever reason. It’s a hard but good watch, the worry being that his sentence was massively reduced because law says he technically didn’t kidnap them so he got out and has done same to another woman now who has left her 2 20 year old kids with no contact and says she ‘loves the man’ and they’re just trying to steal from her. Horrible stuff and I guess until you’ve been there it’s easy to say why stay/go back

It sounds real bad if you listen to it. He's done. For a long while there seems to have been little things with greenwood where maybe club and county have left him out mysteriously. I think he's probably long had some issues where his management / team mates have not been happy with him for one reason or another.

As the evidence is now in the public domain, it will no doubt throw any potential prosectution out of the window and his defence will argue that people will already have a pre-conceived opinion of what occurred.
