Eaves - looks like a new signing. Touch has improved and plenty of aggression to keep defenders on their toes. Fleming - looked very composed in defence and dangerous going forward. Welcome back Bernard - thought he also looked very assured today in what was another solid back three formation. Overall another excellent day for all concerned
Fleming Eaves Doherty. Smallwood had a chance to get on the board but his attempt on goal let him down.!
Eaves, led the line well and was always a threat. Honeyman. His usual duracell bunny self and took a lot of hammer too from Swansea. Flemming. Rare appearance from the local lad. Never put a foot wrong and must have felt quite emotional when the East Stand sang his name. Special mention to the crowd. It felt as the though the club had took off today following another similar epic night v Blackburn, You can feel it in the air, taste it even, we are going places.
Honeymonster Eeeeeeeeaaaaaves Fantastic Fleming - didn’t see that coming! All the players especially Bernard/McLoughlin really assured at the back! I’m not a violent person by nature, however, there was a part of me that wanted to time travel and bring back Billy Whitehurst to come on and give their #3 (Manning) a right good feckin’ battering. Rant over…
Eaaavveees ... by a country mile Flemming .. tired towards the end and a sensible le substitution saved any niggles, but his first half display was lovely to see from another local lad. 3= gorgeous George, captain courageous and the Doc, my god the yards them lads covered today was ridiculous.
Eaves. Fleming (because I didnt expect that), George Doc, Baxter Anyone else. Sorry, harsh on the back three Everyone was up for it today. Fantastic buzz about the place
