We did last year. Can't see it though. I'd settle for 3 points.

 

We need to win both tbh, Norwich look decent. If we beat Everton and Norwich lose to Wolves we will be out of the bottom three; then a draw against Villa at home and try and survive against the Hammers possibly beat Brentford and we could maybe pull away from the bottom.

That being said, we've managed 2 wins all season and I'm right there banking on us doubling that amount in 4 games.

Brentford are one to watch though, they're absolutely dreadful.

 

Doucoure being out for a month could prove fatal for us, irrespective of the manager situation. We need a replacement before the window shuts or we’re in the deep **** imo.

 

Have you guys been linked with anyone or is it all stopped since the manager was thrown out?

 

Just out of interest how many do you have out injured ?

We're currently on 5 who would normally start;

Cooper (captain)
Firpo
Forshaw
Phillips
Bamford

 

At the start of our game with your lot we only had 4 or 5 out but by the end I thought we'd have to start rolling out our youth team. 2 of those 3 injury subs aren't back any time soon :S

It's not numbers those, it's who it is. Wilson is a massive loss for us but half our fans are happy Lascelles (our captain) is injured.

Nah, if it was a Fosse post I'd have mentioned....

The new PL record of giving 8 teenagers their debuts (in the same season).

 

I don't see the point of sacking Benitez now if they didn't have a specific appointment in mind. They were on a horrific run but no way would he have taken them down and after going against the fans to appoint him in the first place it seems odd to bin him first sign of trouble.

May as well just give it to Dunc for the season now.

They need to get Potter.

If a club the size of Everton, with a billionaire owner and a 60K stadium on the way can't get Brighton's manager then the world has gone mad.

 

I reckon he'd go but probably not mid-season. Would be a good appointment if they're actually willing to give him time too.

Yeah, they messed up. They should hire him back immediately. I'm sure he'll forget he was fired for the right fee..
