Just imagine 56,000 in the ground and another 10,000 outside ... ... no wonder they've won nothing for 60 years, the fans are to blame.
The only players they will attract are average plodders desperate for a pay day or mercenaries who couldn't give a **** whether the team wins or loses just so long as they get paid
There isn't a single top player who's boyhood dream was to play for Sunderland, I understand that ... ... unfortunately, for them, Newcastle supporters believe the contrary. No offence to Henderson and Pickford btw
Talksport saying they’re after Diego Carlos but he’s club aren’t willing to part with him. The player, however, is extremely open to the move due to the “life changing financial offer” likely to be made
Oh aye, there'll be more than a few of them. "£250k a week please, pop a relegation release clause in there too"
Sevilla have said they're not willing to sell until Summer, don't blame them, they're in the midst of a title challenge in Spain.
Wow- even players openly saying they’re expecting over the odds cash to be thrown at them to tempt them !
No, but he could at least lie and say that it's always been his life's ambition to put on the famous black and white shirt etc etc.....
It isn’t. But surely a player in a team trying to win a title, wanting to come to a team trying to avoid relegation and openly saying it’s fir the money should start alarms ringing? At least Trippier said he was excited about the club and coming home.
Just been woken up by a ping on my phone, from a Mag mate working abroad, and stupidly looked at the message ... ... how will I get back to kip after seeing this ffs At least there's a sensible comment for once, although he does get pulled for stepping outside of the agenda. "Marsh January 26, 2022 at 22:20 This isn’t great at all – this is the very sportswashing we were worried about when the takeover went through. By all means, love the club (I do). By all means, get excited about the future on the pitch (it’s hard, as a fan, not to). But we should be a million miles away from celebrating PR shots put on to humanise an inhuman regime. As fans, we can rise above that, surely.
You'd think so, the Saudis are all over the internet 'correcting' people, requesting bans, etc ... ... they have endless resources to do that. A clever mate, who's IT savvy, reckons they'll have alerts to highlight people who are regularly searching for words like Saudi, murder, torture, stonings, etc. There's a lad 'Exile' on RTG who was recently banned for posting anti-Saudi stuff, makes you wonder doesn't it. Roger runs a big forum, and gets good legal advice, but it wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't want to take the Saudis on if they threaten him.
I asked myself how I'd feel if Stewart, Neil and Embleton, three players we own, were dancing around like that, not great tbh. These performing clowns obviously have no idea about the meaning of the dance or what the words mean. It may well be about fighting infidels or praising Allah or perhaps it's just a Morris dancing tribute act and they're making the lads feel welcome
