Be hilarious when he walks in the door in the summer for free... Mental fee when you think he's probably worth £10-15m with 6 months left on his contract for a permanent transfer. The weird thing is they don't use him yet we've played them twice already and still need to play their rivals for 5/6/7th spots so he'd be a massive boost to our chances in those games. Cutting their nose of to spite their face.
£15m for Lingard (even if he is free in the summer) is decent business in my opinion....we've just paid £25m for Wood remember ! £18m is not that much more of a stretch so I really can't see the problem here! If it was £12m loan and £6m bonus I could sort of see the point but even then we're ****ing loaded so what's the ****ing big deal? If he wants to come then get it done.....worst case we go down and if he wants to stay he's free but chances are he'll want PL football (especially with it being a world cup year). Monday can't come quick enough for me like !!
Yeah and when they sell someone their stock price will plummet, when they deny it will rise… Looks like someone may be making some side money
Been a member for years mate... Just dropped back in this transfer window to keep tabs on the feelings on the not606 board. Toon fan, once in the North East, now in North Yorkshire.
Haha... cheers! Late, late, late, late one night many years ago, a mate of mine called me a bloody great big fadgewacker... sort of stuck. Been my username for everything ever since.
Gosens turned us down for Inter, apparently. I give it 4 months tops before that's a thing of the past, and players start turning down Inter for Newcastle. Absolutely ****ing guarantee it.
We were always gonna get this. They can enjoy it while we are desperate. Soon they’ll be getting stiffed off us in the market left right and centre. Whether that is us gazumping them or us put high prices on players cause we don’t need to sell
