I think they are focusing on bringing stability to the club. MM made a big deal about bringing in players who would become part of the club for a long time. I think the owners are happy to spend another season in the Champ and then have a look at what they think they need to spend next season. I like how they have restructured and I wont cry if we finish mid table at all this season as at least I know the club will be better in the long run for it. MM has tried hard to get loans but he has said he only wants the right players and the deals haven't come through. I do hope the backing was there. I also hope some money is givien in January if required! If nothing then I too would ask some questions.
Having had the benefit of watching yesterdays match before answering, no. Not because we are back up to 8th a point off the playoffs but because each time I begin to doubt them the team comes up with the goods. There seems to be a good spirit and determination in the team. I also dont think MM left Watford to take up a similar proposition.
After yesterday`s game, and the quality shown, I`ll answer my own question.......nah, not a chance, consolidation is the word¬ Thanks for your sound input all!
Leicester were relegated a few seasons ago with 52 points, so there is a very small possibility. With the form of the lower clubs however, I think we're pretty safe. tbh, I hadn't even considered relegation until I read this thread.
