Kakay back, put him wingback and I’d play Uncs in the front two, got the pace to get balls, hold the play up and let either Chaz or Lyndon play off him leaving either of the two to come on and give fresher legs after Uncs has run em into the ground , just a thought especially after getting on the end of Willock cross with a fine headed finish for the points !

Are you mad ? Swansea will have alot of possession, its what they do. If Kakay played he'd be caught out of position all the time and be unable to recover in time the same as Odebajo. I've said it before Albert is key to our success, I know he's knocking on but he has to start. He's the quickest player we have and can deliver crosses and score goals. Leave him out and we will be in trouble. I'd seriously be thinking about starting Thomas on the right of Austin or Dykes too with Willock on the left

Has Gray definitely already flown out, or is he available tonight and then flying out ? There's nothing about him not being available on the Offy

Think Turkish was suggesting playing Albert further forward and only playing one striker which I think is a cracking idea

Read speculation somewhere that Albert might be rested tonight and a fit again Moses would play RWB. Think myself the WB more likely to be in need of a rest is Wallace with Moses playing LWB.

    Wouldn't make that many changes....

    Marshall
    Dickie, Dunne, Barbet
    Uncs, Field, Steff, Amos, Wallace
    Dykes, Willock

It was a toss up between Thomas who did very well on Saturday or Amos........ six of one, half dozen of another

    C'mon Rangers

I know but I just don't rate Odebajo, much more threat if Uncle plays right wing back and Thomas ahead of him. Would give us energy and pace down the right side. Willock on the left and Charlie up top. Get those crosses in, Johansen playing further up behind with Field sitting in. I think it will be a pretty open game with them having more possession than us. They have a few players that could hurt us, I wanna see us attacking them from the off and really going for it

What does everyone think about Ball coming back into the team?

Ball in front of the back three. Field in the centre, sweeping things up, and Johansen pushing forward behind Willock and either Austin or Dykes? Seems to me we'd be quite solid in midfield.

I think Warbs is doing rather well, we should leave him to it.

It certainly will be open with that line up.

As regards the players for the team tonight and shape? Not really, I don’t know what shape individual players are in, how they are doing in training, what tactical ideas are needed against this opposition.

I think the team is doing brilliantly, and although it’s a part of the joy of the game to debate line ups, tactics etc and everyone has a perfect right to do it, I find it a bit bemusing when changes to a winning system are put forward. We are fourth in the table, we’ve scored the fourth highest number of goals in this league, we’ve won our last 4 games….it’s ****ing unbelievable! The team should be weaker without Chair, and playing 2 up to compensate in a shape which looks like it shouldn’t work….but it does! So if Warbs thinks we need Ball in, that’s fine by me. If he doesn’t want to change stuff, I can totally understand that too. I know **** all compared to him.

If it was Redknapp my view might be different. And if we start losing I might turn nasty with Warbs too, as is my right as a paying fan, it’s part of the deal. And in a perfect world I would like us to play a 4-3-3 total football approach, but I know we don’t have the personnel for that.

Tell you who, to my huge surprise, is impressing me. Rooney.

    ps COME ON YOU HOOPSA!!!!

    Rooney is doing really well.
You don't play at such a high level and to such a high standard, under top coaches, without learning a thing or two. Gerrard fits that description too imo.
Having said that, obviously plenty of top players don't make good coaches for whatever reason.
Completely take your point about discussing the line up, tactics etc. As you know, I just can't help myself .
In my defence, I haven't called for any changes and agree that two up top with Willock behind is best in Chair's absence.
