Why can't he do a Phil Collins and call it a day via fax machine? Ideal for a media man seeking attention.
No they’re different, can you not work out that it doesn’t have to be 100% of one or the other? It’s part leaked information & part speculation. Just as you get from the BBC. The ITKers, off here, we’re speculating, & leaking, information about GM leaving the club long before the BBC. They then slate the BBC for doing as they do.
A football supporters public forum is for speculation and opinions. The BBC is supposed to be for news. They are worlds apart.
Just so I'm clear as I'm not sure you are getting my point... I've no issue with them leaking things, it's the relentlessness of them wanting to see grant out ( see mike's 2mins with acun pre Blackburn ) and talking about pretty much nothing else, then that getting in the way of proper reporting. They work for the BBC they are not supposed to let personal vendetta/feelings effect how they report. You failed to answer the first time so I'll ask again. Do you think what they have done over the last few months re grant and him moving on etc has been fair and level reporting? Just look at how the delightful mr burns was when he interviewed scunnys manager... They are terrible and looking like they are dropping out the football league, but when he interviewed the manager, burnsy was nothing but respectful, positive and took hills answers and moved on. Do any of the BBC lot do that when it involves hull? Baz has been pretty spot on upto this past weekend, part of me feels like he and other media was being tested over the weekend ( wouldn't be the first time it's happened in football ) to see how they would deal with the info
Totally different spin & first mention of opinions. Tell me is “Grant knows he is moving on & a compensation package has already been agreed” opinion or speculation or leaking information or attention seeking & if not opinion, speculating or attention seeking did GM give his blessing for the leak?
Just so I’m clear I’m not arsed whether you opine, speculate or leak. I do find it slightly irksome & hypocritical when you subsequently call out the BBC for doing likewise.
I don’t tend to go on the BBC website. I’m not local to Humberside (radio) so don’t go on there. I go nowhere near the DM website. Most I read, from them, is the snippets on here which I see, as I stated earlier, no better or worse than what you & other ITKers post. I will add that there’s only 2 of you that I believe have genuine sources. I also see what you do as no different to the Baz Coopers & David Burns.
That wasn’t what I meant, sorry I think I could have been clearer. What I meant was other club chairman might not allow McCann the leniency of not talking to specific reporters, especially if there are financial deals involved.
But I thought the ITK's wasn't in the know by some on here when thing's didn't go to the timeline? They was getting slated for it but all of a sudden they're now right. WTF?
Confirmed by the speculations from professional journalists working for what is claimed to be a highly trusted national broadcaster, who looks suspiciously like they lifted their 'news' off here.
