Is this definitely real? I've gotta feeling it may have been photoshopped. Think there'd be a lot more talk about it if it was, Chelsea themselves would likely have tweeted an apology for it too to save face.
I’ve seen some minor chatter about it on social but nothing too big. Don’t think I’ve seen anyone suggest it’s fake though.
Agreed, you had all the momentum coming in off the back of that win vs Leicester. If THFC had even drawn it would have dragged us firmly into the race for the CL spots.
It's real. I checked before posting it, as it sounded so stupid. A few different places quoted it before it was deleted, despite not realising how inappropriate it was: https://www.football365.com/news/chelsea-2-0-tottenham-ziyech-scores-stunner-as-blues-triumph
Anybody remember this, the same referee that gave a foul on Thiago yesterday, thought this was not a foul on Kane.
Not at all (on both counts) , Spurs can still catch Chelsky assuming the proverbial "If" on the games in hand. This game was as I said a statement of intent/belief, where an "echoes of glory" loss was no bad thing in the grand scheme. Conte went < standard > Italian, the game was lost regardless, and the performance was as feeble as the League cup ties.
Crazy... It's weird how it's not really doing the rounds like most tweets like that would. I've seen racial/ anti-semitic/ Islamophobic tweets from individuals with barely any followers go viral and yet one from a club with millions of followers has seemingly had little coverage.
For certain clubs, it has to be a "spectacular" to garner more than a "No sh*t, Sherlock" response from the general public.
This is only half true. One thing Chelsea did very early on was invest in an academy. Yes we've bought players for large sums and sold for similar fees but we've also sold Tomori, Abraham, Aina and Kalas for a combined £75m. We could easily fetch a combined £100m+ for Mount/James combined if we were to sell them. I agree with the first part of your comment though in the sense that in the modern game, wage budget is far more consequential than transfer fee.
I don't know what Ape Kids is, but I don't think Terry's being racist. His profile picture is virtually the same thing, which is supposed to represent him. please log in to view this image Scrolled down a bit and there are various other players, including Jack Wilshere: Probably innocent, if rather up for misinterpretation.
Could be wrong as I don't know enough about them but they could be NFTs, which are becoming ever more popular amongst the Crypto community.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ts-commit-to-ridding-football-of-antisemitism The sheer audacity of the head of Chelsea’s Foundation writing this and not choosing to mention the deleted gas tweet shocks me
