Pete O'Rourke has said we're in talks with Angers' young forward, Mohamed-Ali Cho, who's been of interest to other Prem clubs.

Telegraph also claiming that Newcastle have opened talks of a loan deal for Dele.

Niklas Sule has apparently rejected a new deal at Bayern. Contract ends in the summer, another potential option for Paratici to look at?

If Spurs are waiting on players to leave on loan before signing anyone (Adama Traore), may I ask why?

The wage bill is already significantly lower than last season, also the loan fees will be minimal so not like they’re going to cover the cost of buying Traore?

    What’s the hold up?

    No, we aren't

Also, no, Sportrac is not a credible source given their figures are riddled with errors, for example here's five other examples of them getting their facts hopelessly wrong from our first team alone
Son - £192k, not the £140k Sportrac claim
Lo Celso - £100k, not the £70k Sportrac claims
Davies - £93k, not the £60k Sportrac claims
Dier - £92k, not the £72k Sportrac claims
Reguilon - £68k, not the £48k Sportrac claims

Just because they're the top Google search doesn't mean that they're good, case in point if you type "Adama Traore Tottenham" into Google the top hit is from The Sun, and we all know how trustworthy they are

Also, given the FM games use the same scouting software that several clubs use, it's certainly more reputable than a site where it can be demonstrated that they're getting their figures wrong in a matter of minutes

So no, we are not paying Tanguy Ndombele £200k a week, we never have and never will

You get those figures from the same sources that had you adamant Eriksen couldn't play in the Premier League?

Depends how many players we're bringing in

At present we have two Non HG spots left in our squad, which isn't an issue if we're only signing Traore as we'd still have one left over and can then work on borrowing some of Traore's baby oil in order to make shoving Ndombele out the door slightly easier

If we're looking to sign three or four players, which isn't an arbitrary figure as all window there's been headlines of Conte wanting at least three players all window long, that means one needs to be moved out so that we both create a Non HG spot while also getting the most value for the player moved out

No, I got them from multiple sources

Multiple sources that demonstrate that journalists just read the first Google search result

Just as there's many more multiple sources that say otherwise.

I’ll be very surprised l if three or four players are signed before the end of this window considering how little time is left and how long Spurs usually take with negotiations.

Surely it’s better to get in players the manager wants rather than have Ndombele, Dele and Lo Celso registered when the manager doesn’t fancy them.

Sort of from France. Born there but moved to England when he was a week old.
Played for PSG and Everton at academy level.
I think he'd still work out as homegrown if we were to sign him now.

Dan KP's latest article mentions Lo Celso isn't particularly liked at the club. Doesn't say by who but pretty damning. I can imagine he may not be loved too much by the hierarchy, cost a lot of dough, was part of Christmas-gate and always seems happy to **** off at first notice for Argentina, give his all for them and come back to us looking to work the physios hard.

Fans don't like him much either though, that's for sure <laugh>

I haven’t liked or rated him since day 1.

Something about him comes across as very unlikeable, I also feel like he’s one of those players that thinks he is better than he actually is.

I wouldn't say I never rated him from day 1, he did show glimpses of his ability in the tail end of his first season that I hoped he'd build on but other than that he's been woeful and definitely the poorer of the two big money buys, which takes some doing considering how bad Ndombele's been.

As a person though, yeah I agree, something about him that just don't seem right, has a seemingly lack of commitment to the club despite the fact it's us who pay his wages. Definitely didn't come from the same stock as Lamela, put it like that.

I wasn’t convinced by his one good season at Betis, he just didn’t excite me from the off. Always seemed like a very basic player.

Yep, always happy to travel around the world for Argentina and play his heart out for them but for Spurs he’s been bog standard.

Ndombele definitely has more talent than Lo Celso so yeah you’re probably right that Lo Celso is even more of a disappointment. Least with Ndombele you could make a YouTube highlight reel where he would look good, I’m struggling to think of many Lo Celso moments where he looked good.

Yeah you can make Ndombele look world class on YouTube.

Whereas Lo Celso would be made to look like a version of Winks that drinks matè.

You need a defender. All the CBs look like an accident waiting to happen. The loss of Alderweireld and Vertonghen has shown up the shortcomings of others.

    Which are all citing Sportrac

Multiple sources citing something which is wrong doesn't make that source magically right, as the antivaxx community really need to learn at some point

I can't help but wonder if Lo Celso did or said something dickheaded in training

The comments from Conte about him not following instructions alone are more than enough to raise eyebrows, especially when you take into account none of his former coaches at club or international level have said he can't follow instructions, but what really sticks out is the post from Lo Celso's Insta when he was left out of the squad which sounded uncannily like he'd been told to sit on the Naughty Step and think about what he had said and/or done
