on a scale of train wreaks, where you you put a mourinho level wreak for everton.

Could it be any worse than (insert any manager or player from the last 9 years here) for example.

I was going to put a name but then couldn't decide between koeman, allardyce, silva, ancelotti or rafa and then thought of players like james, walcott, iwobi, kean, Gbamin, siggurdsson, keane, klassen, schneiderlin, bolaise, williams, mori, niasse, lennon, eto'o......

so yea... could mourinho really be a bigger train wreak than this?

 

Regardless of where we finish this summer, I think it's time to start cleaning house and rebuilding the next squad.

Milner should be converted to a coach for the youth. If someone can find a way to mount chairs to his back and wheels to his limbs.

Ox, Mini, Keita, Origi... None of them are really the future of the club and the more we can clear out this summer, the better.

The front three are aging, still not old but aging and it's time we start replacing some. I'd love to hold onto Salah if club can, but I no longer see Firmino and Mane as must haves. It might be nice to sell one or both while they still hold value and bring in a long term replacement. It might be too much to replace both this summer... Move one this year and the other the next.

 

Yes. With Jose it's not just the mess he makes, it's the mess he leaves behind. Even when he is moderately successful and gets silverware he always leaves a club weaker than he found it.

He'll shoo off the top players, buy old players who have already peaked... Not invest in youth. A top club has enough to rebound. Everton might end up getting relegated the season after Mourinho leaves.

Jose is all about today at the expense of the future... He never stays anywhere long, what does he care about the long-term.

Maybe that's why Rafa and Mourinho hate each other... They're too much alike in some ways.

 

Origi and I think Milner are out of contract this summer, so they shouldn't be an issue. Won't bring money in though.

Dortmund apparently in talks for Adeyami. Another one that’ll go for £30m to Dortmund before being sold for 90m to someone else a few years later.

Wiah we’d take a gamble on some of these players.

 

The problem is that Dortmund can guarantee a starting place for them. We cannot, or they don’t want to fight for one.

We paid.half what dortmund paid for haaland to the same club.... for minamino. Explain that. Same team watched, no bid for the clearly.best talent and most value but we see a cheap release clause and are all over it???

The pattern is so.well established now that there's no point talking about hot properties. It's tribunal or nominal fees for kids and buying the odd player as one player leaves klopps squad
