Not what I watched yesterday. Must have missed all these examples. Perhaps you only see it on the tv? Or imagine it to suit your narrative? You could strengthen your argument by giving me, say, a half dozen examples from yesterday's match (since it's clearly so prevalent iyo). Easier if you tell me the precise minute each happened & I'll re-watch the match to be educated by you. Think I might have a long wait .....
I couldn't agree more regarding Klich. He is the intelligence in the side. His off ball work is up there with the best I have seen. Unfortunately when a bit of pace is needed he looks like he has concrete boots on. The big difference from Championship to PL is the pace of the game. I don'tknow if he is slower or the game is quicker but it is noticeable how quickly the game moves past him and leaves him running through treacle. I love the guy but the time is up for him at this level. He just can't keep up. Rodrigo, Klich and Roberts to go and use the money to get someone else in.
My personal view is that professional athletes will always suffer injuries and their physical performances will inevitably decline either as a result of those injuries or age. If Klich for example really was burnt out then his stats would show it both in training & matches and he wouldn't keep being selected. There's simply too much data about players performance now to hide any physical defficiencies.
Yes.. Yes and yes. Sell sell sell. Good player is klich and better than rodrigo but that's not good enough. But can't help wondering how we would go with a decent mid to replace rodrigo and a proper striker.
Of course she is being a woman pundit. But not as correct as that football focus woman as she is black innit.
Wonder how Bamford would be as a 10 and a proper striker up top. Dallas and another new and pacey creative mid in the mix. Kalvin may stay and what a different side we would be.
"Unfortunately when a bit of pace is needed he looks like he has concrete boots on". If that was all you were saying (& you're talking bollox if you maintain that!), then why did you present massive statistics that said everything but???
