Least it would shut Chris Sutton up . Obviously got a bee in his bonnet about Ranieri still being here .
This is the idiocy of the guy, if we had sacked Ranieri (I know we may still do so) he would be criticising us for yet another sacking - guaranteed if Ranieri does get the tin-tack Sutton will somehow turn it into a negative, despite his obvious ‘support’ of the decision by virtue of his comments over the past few days!!
Back in a different world I watched as GT got his whole team around him and passionately motivated them and they went on to win. It was a cup match v Luton before extra time. Last night in the floodlight break I watched the players wander around, do a little knocking about with the ball and Ranieri appeared to do nothing.
You can tell he is frustrated with the players in the comments made afterwards. That doesn’t bode well .
I genuinely believe Sutton will try anything to destabilise a relegation rival. Or am I paranoid ?Probably.
We are all a bit paranoid at the moment I got home from the match in time to see some post match comments from Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher and they were quite kind to Watford They both thought we had the best forwards in the bottom four and only our defence has let us down and hoped that Claudio did not get the sack, as they are not connected to the other teams at the bottom it seemed genuine
Obviously not got a replacement lined up yet as Ranieri is still here. Probably means we won’t be buying anymore players .. Poor planning .
From what I have read, Claudio is more of a personal friend of the Pozzos, so maybe it is not so easy to fire him.
Can't believe he's still in the job. I've thought about it long and hard and CR70 should walk. The poor old man doesn't deserve any of this.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/60096464 Got to say, I can’t argue with him. I was confident with the line-up pre-match, but of course, you’re looking at that assuming those players will give all for 90’, and for each other too.
These days you don’t last long after calling out the players even if it’s right. A few might have been on the phone to agents etc after the criticism! Interesting to see the difference in reaction from fans elsewhere though about this news compared to when Munoz was sacked ? A lot were happy to see him go whereas most of the fans feel sorry for Raneri and think the board and players are the problem now . Maybe the latter has been the case all time in reality but in football only one man gets the blame. We aren’t just good enough and the recruiting been poor ?
WFCForums is full of people giving up supporting this club. Not that they’re prone to over reaction, of course! It’s just relegation. It’s happened before without having to press the red button!
That is true. Always happens when we lose a game they expect to win (easily )’ Get all over emotional and react with their hearts so to speak. Munoz was sacked because they all reacted badly to a couple of narrow defeats .
