Has anyone got any ideas/ links etc of how to get a children's book published? My son has just put a story on you tube of a story he has worked on over the last few years, illustrating it himself as well (called "When daddy dropped the jungle". I know I am biased but I think if is great and kids would love it.
I'm in the process of doing a children's book myself - The Heartless Ghoul and the Great Forest in the Sky. Self published an adult novel last year, just finished my second and am sending it out to publishers this month. I might be able to give some guidance. Any chance you could take a photo of one of the pages and maybe give me a synopsis.
Not savvy with technology but attached a screenshot from Facebook. Basically about a kids favourite bedtime storybook which his dad drops onto the floor and the animals get mixed up. To try and rectify it they drop it again but it mixes them up even more. They then to again potion on it and it seems to have worked but...!
That looks brilliant mate. Just had a rummage around for a list of UK children's book publishers that welcome unsolicited submissions and this looks pretty good. https://weebookworms.co.uk/20-uk-childrens-book-publishers-accepting-your-manuscript/ In terms of a pitch I think a children's book written by a kid is pretty enticing, so worth sending it off to them.
