Can't really agree with you on that. I think Baxter has better command of the box and safer handling. Ingram is a good shot stopper but his hesitancy does seem to unnerve defenders. Paradoxically I did think the last game before being dropped was one of his best and most confident performances. Baxter did have a couple of dodgy moments last night but I still think he is the more consistent option - really a very good keeper.
He’s still learning but he was a right handful for them to handle last night, get the consistency he’s starting to show and he’s looking a very decent championship forward.
Really rather enjoyed that game. I’m glad we decided to have the day off instead last time they wanted to play us. Missed Acun arriving on the pitch, but did see kick off for a change. Cracking atmosphere, and the team responded to it. Onwards and upwards with a fresh start and a feeling of being cleansed
Probably posted already, but it’s here again if so. Going to football has always meant much more than watching football
I agree, and you should know, one of the best keepers I played with. He is young and will make the odd mistake, but overall commands his box is better than Ingram. More importantly, I think the defense in front of him feel the same.
I don't think it's even close between the 2 of them to be honest, Ingram is a decent shot stopper but made me sh*t myself once a game minimum, was always glued to his line as well. Baxter came off his line for the wrong once yesterday but didn't hesitate which a lot of keepers would've which in itself probably made it easier for Bernard to then make the block as he forced the attacker to flick the ball up in the air slowing it down immensely, can't forget he's very young for a GK too.
Ah yes, cleansed of the Allams, rather feels like the same effect of the liquid you have to drink to get ready for a colonoscopy. Same result.
No MDT yet, Chazz pull yer finger out, so does anyone know if you can pay on the gate at Bournemouth?
And that's what wrong with football. He looked at the goalie. I would hope he does. Imagine driving on a road and not looking at other cars. It doesn't mean your going to crash into the other cars.
