Then reveal that you are the millionaire that owns the showroom and you’ve filmed their courteous and respectful interaction with you… then you make them the manager and give them a raise? I KNOW YOU!!
I was trying to think who we seem like right now, and I remembered - we're ****ing 'Boro from a few years back, paying far too much for ageing players. Why do I even bother with this ****ing club? We just lurch from one **** situation to another.
Isn’t it your ****ing birthday?!! anyway, I empathise Roly… but it took 18 months for PIF’s purchase to be ‘allowed’, we’re going down but will come straight back up in May 2023 - we’ll buy our promotion fair and square. So it’s just a question of waiting the same amount of time again. The world of English football will have won the opening battles and I hope they enjoyed it…. because we will be back to kick the living **** out of the established order and most of us will be alive to see it. And if I’m not one of those then I’ll be watching from the Co-Op in the sky.
Could be worse we could sign a Brazilian for £40m and he can’t hit a barn door from 3 yards out. But he try’s hard so that’s ok.
If that’s your world view GG then so be it. It’s just not mine. One of us will be right but we’ll have to wait and see
I'm calling it now. IF these idiots even manage to get new players in, they'll be sub-par **** and we'll get relegated anyway. It just all feels wrong. I can't be the only one who's looking at it thinking "nah, it's not what they're saying, there's not a vast sum, there's no grand plan." I can't be alone thinking these decisions to date are Mike Ashley standard - with the key difference being, if Ashley had been here, clubs wouldn't be taking the piss and we'd likely have signed a few players already because those we're looking at are fairly average anyway!! Howe's a **** choice, Wood is a poor striker, this Ektiike looks a worse striker than Joelinton and Carlos looks slightly less reliable than Bramble. Chasing Lingard when he's just not going to repeat the West Ham heroics, the futile chase for Botman, the conflicting reports everywhere. It all just feels really off to me.
Just wondering which alleged footballer that is over the hill with a made up a fictitious transfer fee - say over 30m that we can talk about today it seems that we are linked to everyone and their Auntie the Agents have been working overtime getting their players better contracts and more money by staying put on the back of Newcastle's name and new found wealth I bet 99.9% of the names mentioned where never approached in the first place The media make up stories of contact, then wait a couple of days then print that the contact turned us down rinse and repeat
