Just a quick word of appreciation (hard to believe what I'm about to say) for the ref. Let the game flow and didn't notice him very much, surely the mark of a good refereeing performance? Above all, added on the correct amount of time. So often we find that extra time ends exactly when it was originally timetabled (eg, if five minutes are put on the board then the ref ends it in minute 95 regardless of what else happens). So often we find that substitutions, feigning injury and other general crap is never taken account of. And yet our 5 minutes extra went on, and rightly so. Kudos to Moss. (I wonder how many other game altering incidents would have happened in extra time if it was allowed to go on to the correct conclusion in other games?)

The game was not yer typical PL MF melee, with silly/niggly tackles all over the place. Consequently there was no need to similarly brandish cards about.

Ok, I'll be brave and come on your board! Wow!!! Somehow we found ourselves 2-1 up with 8 seconds to play and......well you know the rest! The truth be told you should have been out of sight at half time, but that doesn't stop it hurting (we've all been there haven't we) I've not come on here to make excuses. We have all seen games where we win games when we don't deserve to, but I think last night took it to another level. As much as we were absolutely gutted, you lot must have been so ecstatic, but hey, that's football. Kane got his usual goal against us and should have had more. As for us, it will be interesting how we react. I think we MUST beat Brighton on Sunday or we could find ourselves spiralling down the table. Good luck for the rest of the season.
Good post on what must have been a big disappointment for you, but as you say that's football. It reminded some of us of our CL Semi Final against AJax when Lucas did the impossible.
A very dignified reply mate, thank you. We were the better team last night but your boys certainly punished us and you have some fantastic players. Daka is going to be a star once he is fully match fit. Harvey Barnes is another terrific talent. Hope you finish the season strongly. This January transfer window could be pivotal for both our teams.
