I don't disagree with any of that (bar, being picky, one or two exceptions to the first sentence). I enjoyed it.
I will be going to the Bournemouth game on Saturday. I recall the last time I went and the team just didn’t turn up and we got trounced. The telling thing was that the City crowd was full of support wearing loads of different club shirts spanning every season going back. The Bournemouth supporters virtually all had that seasons strip. We took a Canadian supporter to his first Hull City game. He told us he could handle his drink but was pissed as soon as we walked into Weatherspoons. Hope to see a few mates there.
I was watching a Grand Designs a few months ago . The guy and his wife had just about finished the Project and a Double Decker London bus turned up in the back of a large transporter . His face was a picture when he suddenly remembered ordering it whilst pissed
I'm guessing a lot will be like me that would love to have gone but needed more notice due to work commitments or child care or any other reason. I couldn't move my work around at such shirt notice especially as how many time did we think that it will be announced at the next home game.
Glad to hear you can take a break from your other concerns if just for a short time . Hope it is a good game for you.
For goodness sake, just go on the bus like the rest of us. That's taking support to a new level. We won't be able to keep up.
I bought a 10 man tent while drunk once. In general that wasn't an issue as I needed one. It was just the 6 hour drive to pick it up that was less than ideal.
