Its never nice when a manager is sacked, especially when the fans have faith in him, we experienced the same thing when Pardew was sacked. However what goes around comes around, Foxes fan were saying they were going to walk the league and were laughing at Saints fans and saying we were not going to anything. Feel sorry for Sven, not the fans.
We don't want sympathy. We're still in a great position. Depends who we get. And I'd like to know who all these bragging Leicester fans were. It's all I every hear from other fans, but I don't who any Foxes fans that were THAT confident to act like we were promoted before the season started!
i agree gangster, tho i think there were the odd one or two of our fans giving it the big one, usual suspects you know who you are. but most of the more realistic, level headed lcfc fans, have learnt over the yrs to take nothing for granted with this team. yes we will now get an abundance of like minded idiots from a multitude of other clubs coming on here gloating, but at the end of the day, who cares, all i care about is where we are at the end of the season. i dont think we will get promoted if im honest, may sneak the play offs, but wont be surprised if we dont.......
I will begin by saying i was and still am a bragging fan because southampton will always be a peanut club. As for all the money we spent, it was worth it. We had about 6 loanees leave the club and we needed to be competitive. Sven has left us with a squad of young guns who failed either cos they suck together or our tactics are wrong. Either way we are still the richest club in english football and will buy a 20 mil player next season. JOSE MARIHNO, JOSE MARINHO. MARTIN O NEILO, MARTIN O NEILO
I think that if you look back at posts pre-season, a lot of Leicester fans believed that Southampton would finish top 6. Hate us if you want, we dont care !
It wasn't meant as "hate" towards all of you. That... individual was insulting my club, and I take exception to that.
I called Southampton and Middlesboro for the top six. Everyone thought I was mad! Also said us, West Ham, Birmingham and Ipswich, all still within the realms of possibility.
