So we’re losing to a side with a player whose name sounds like a National Trust house? Great

 

We just need to keep this up and not let our heads drop. I’d rather lose playing like this than how we were previous to Conte

 

We need so much more out of our WBs. Both really ineffective so far, Emerson in particular.

 

Before the goal Reguilon was very effective. Agree on Emerson though

 

He’s a bit of a liability defensively. I’ve seen him make plenty of mistakes.

 

All players make mistakes though. I think we look a far better team when he is in the side

 

We look like we’re playing at pedestrian pace and the movement up top isn’t great. Højbjerg getting runs in behind once or twice but he’s not the player you want there. None of our midfielders look confident receiving the ball under pressure and it’s very noticeable.

 

The goal has killed us, i way traffic before it now we cant get a kick

Compared to alternatives in the squad then yeah he’s the best of a bad bunch.

Like all recent signings though. Could do better. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not writing him off like Ndombele or Lo Celso but he needs to improve.
