------------------Wood-------------------- ASM----------Joelinton-------------Fraser -----------Almiron----Shelvey--------- Dummett--Schar-Fernandez---Trippier -------------------Dubz------------------- I don't see why Almiron cannot start as a LCM. Don't see what Longstaff, hayden or Willock offer. Almiron would help defend that left hand side, and has the pace and stamina to get up and down the pitch.
Me too and while it pains me to say it, with Longstaff. I don't want Shelvey anywhere near the team. Dubravka Trippier Lewis Fernandez Schar Joelinton Longstaff Willock Fraser ASM Wood Ideally of 3 or 4 players arrive to change the above
All three are better than Shelvey. Shelvey has more impact than just laziness. He drops too deep, concedes possession and isn't a positive influence. I'd honestly have Joe central with Almiron (I agree with you here) and Willock left and right of him in a midfield three. That's designed to cover ASM and Fraser being more offensive to get the ball in to Wood. Back four picks itself, unless Lewis is fit. Then I'd have Lewis, Dummett, Schar and Trippier. Hard to imagine Fede is match-ready.
All of this ^^^ in a standard 4-3-3 I'd still like Murphy to do well for us as an option on the right of the front 3 esp if we a playing a tougher team as I believe he tracks back better than Fraser.
I'm getting pretty sick of his **** selections like. Darlow ahead of Dubs v Brentford Kraft centre back and Ritchie wing back v Arsenal Clark v Norwich Clark v Man City Not playing Fernandez It hasn't been good enough. If he plays Lascelles on Saturday and he ****s up again he can **** off for me, Howe that is.
If available Lascelles and Shelvey will be first names on the team sheet. I doubt for tactical or performance level reasons Howe will drop them. For some reason they just are automatic starters. Have been under most managers for some weird reason.
