Newcastle supposedly had a bid accepted for Hazard, but he turned them down. Hazard in the Championship would be interesting.
Just don't see them even trying for that calibre of player yet. Current desperation to get some numbers in. Then the summer (if not relegated) to maybe move on to some big 6 rejects. Personally think someone like Origi would thrive in a lesser Prem team
I can't really see them buying a LW/LF player when they have saint maximin. Of all the things they need hazard LOL. The way howe was talking they have wood until wilson is back and then could go two up if desperate. They need midfield and CBs i suppose now.
Newcastle just proper scattergun. Being linked with lots of CB’s which makes sense. But hazard? They seem to be going for players that are never going to have interest in joining. Hazard Dembele Van de Beek Martial Cant see why they’re targeting more forwsrd/wide players when they have ASM, Almiron, Fraser. When they instead need midfielders to replace shelvey Hayden
It gets thier name out there i guess. I could see how some of the man utd crap would be interested in a 6 month loan away form the ragnashite disaster thats going on and come back when the next manager is in place. Imo they do need CMs to run the park and they need goals. IMO howe could never organise a defence anyway so its all about goals for me.
I was thinking the same that a loan move could be an idea for some Man U fringe players, to put themselves in the window if nothing else. CM and CB are what they need, but they're unlikely to be able to get a PL established CM. Might be better chucking money at someone from an Eastern European CL or Europa League Club.
So FIFA squeeze Haaland,Messi,Ronaldo and Lewandowski into a front four in their 'team of the year' No room for Mo
Saw that yesterday. I think Garth Crooks was in charge judging by his team of the week selections. Anyone that scores a goal can go in even if they are put in a position they’ve never played before.
Replace 'Lampard' with any other name and your second sentence still stands. How much longer does it go on before the board faces the fact that the problem at the club isn't the manager.
Reckon it’s the fans fault? They’re the only ones that have been there all the time they’ve been ****
Look I don't know what everton need to do financially but it does appear that they need an attitude reset. Nothing to do with local rivalry either. They sort of remind me of villa fans before they got relegated, a lot of grumbling, nothing ever good enough or right and a general lack of support for the team. At the end there villa were rubbish but better away from home than at home due to the pressure on players. Were we much different in 2015? Who knows Something has to change there, one some level fundamentally clubs are either on the up or on the slide and everton are on a long slow slide at the moment. A club like Brighton really shows what can be done. No need for big names or false names to manage a club, just good consistent decision making.
