I was speaking with a Palace season ticket holder and he says they are raving about him. Had to wait for his chance but has been brilliant for them over past few games.
Kevin Phillips: Ex-Sunderland and England striker named South Shields boss. The prolific striker, who was capped eight times by England, is taking on his first managerial role after holding coaching positions since retirement. He replaces Graham Fenton as manager of the seventh-tier side.
Excuse me ! How about a mention - nurtured at Watford ? Known after given his first full contract at the Vicarage for running home 'Mum/Dad I'm a Professional Footballer '...and what a Pro he turned out to be
We signed him from Baldock Town, I think, when he was about 21. He owes more to Southampton than us, although they ultimately rejected him, considering him too small, he did six years there as a kid and an apprentice, before going semi-pro with Baldock.
Remembered he came from Baldock-so maybe my beloved Hatters didnt want him either,or he was too TALL for them. Must admit had forgotten about being at Southampton earlier to Vicarage..lucky for them they didnt think the same about Tiny Shearer. Wont be unearthing any more Phillips,Endeans while WFCs in the top league

Obviously Ray Lewington has Watford connections, but what are Tommy Baldwin’s? He has our name in brackets after his name and I don’t know why.
