Personally I think the ones Bielsa really likes he keeps with him. Meslier Struijk Joffy There is definitely some quality with Bate as he has a lovely touch, let's see what happens now Forshaw is out again.
Souness: Leeds are my favourite team to watch. Man City are great but Leeds are a tremendous watch," Souness told Sky Sports post-match. "They are honest to a man. The manager won't have it. It goes back to him. He won't have it in training. If you know anything - or even a little about football - you want them in the Premier League. “If I lived anywhere in Yorkshire, I’d buy a season ticket." Leeds were without 10 players for the trip to face the Hammers despite the return of Pascal Struijk and Rodrigo to the matchday squad.
Same Sounness that after the 7-0 defeat at City said Bielsa was naive and would get relegated if he didn't change his ways.
Yep these pundits are all exactly like the lazy journos and even today I got sick of hearing how Bielsa and his coaching methods is injuring our players….
Going back to the OP, Signings in Jan, 2 weeks ago I would have said yes, we were desperate to field a proper team. 6 points later, players are coming back others getting injured, but the kids are getting game time and showing they are worthy. The mad method of MB having everyone capable of playing 2 ( or more) positions is proving it’s worth. No point getting held to ransom this month, leave that to Newcastle etc. If we don't sign anyone I will not be annoyed we have enough quality to stay up and even finish 10th ish.
Only 1 point behind Brentford now, so a good win against the barcodes will see us climb again at least 1 place
At least we have Llorente fit to slot in next week alongside Struijk. If we can keep putting out a decent back line with Koch in front we just might get through this latest spate of injuries unscathed
So so proud of the team today. Everyone contributed, Dallas and Ayling both made up for errors with the first and second goals respectively, to the extent that the worst performer in the team still scored an 8 from me. I understand some of the comments about pundits, but I loved and agreed Souness’s comments about us today. It needed saying. Thought we started really well, that we did have our mojo back. Was worried, particularly when Foreshaw went off, but the lads did great. By this time next weekend we should have a fair idea if the risk of relegation is a concern or not. Don’t think the match against the barcodes is a “must win”for us, but however the remaining games across the week go it’s a “mustn’t lose” game. Hope we smash the barstuards! MOT
I was forgetting Llorente was missing, so Ayling back at RB switch Dallas to LB then I guess midfield Rodrigo Koch Klich
Exactly @LeedsRover1 . The win yesterday means the Newcastle game is not a must win. Its a must not lose.
